Great property and owner. Lots of open space in the back and the private stretch of beach is fantastic. Had a minor missing item issue (trash bags) and owner was extremely responsive and got it handled within hours. Absolutely 10/10, great value, would stay again!

Great location and access to Lake Michigan with beach just out your backyard. House was nice and mixture of updates and things to come as others mention (deck for example). Nice kitchen and stocked decent (could use legit kitchen knife).

We had an excellent time at this rental property. The kitchen and living room were our favorite parts of the home—both were spacious, comfortable, great for relaxing, and had views of the lake. The access to Lake Michigan is incredible, with a large, sandy, private beach just steps away.The host was also very responsive and helpful when we accidentally tripped a breaker during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely love to come back again!

We hosted a family reunion for 4th of July weekend at this property and we all had an AMAZING time. The sunset view from this property is breath taking. Definitely made some core memories and took beautiful pictures during our reunion. I’m already booked for next year!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. The inside has been partially updated and was roomy. However, we felt inside and outside have been cleaner & could use some minor cosmetic fixes— as a previous reviewer stated the deck could use some upgrades, etc. The house provided chairs, beach toys and kitchen essentials. It was conveniently located close to town and restaurants. Such a beautiful beach front stay— with a few improvements this place is a 5 star stay!

A wonderful property with a beautiful beach, amazing views and a great yard! The home was very pretty, clean and comfortable. It was supplied with everything we could need! The host responded quickly to our questions and was very accommodating!! And Muskegon was a great surprise! We had no idea the area had so much to offer!! We’ll be back!

You are definitely paying for the location. Property is extremely ran down. Inside of home was clean. Parts of the home were updated and other parts outdated. We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with the property.

The house has been updated except for 2 bathrooms and the deck. We are in the process of doing those as well. Stating the property is run down is misleading. We deliver what it is, an awesome view, comfortable house and great beach.

The location is good and I enjoyed the lake view. It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but access to the house is by an outdoor staircase that is pretty steep and was slippery and wet on arrival, which made it sort of hard to unload. There were some weird issues in terms of 'cleanliness' on arrival. Old coffee and coffee grinds sitting in the coffee maker, pieces of food in the sink, dishes sitting in the dishwasher (clean? dirty? who knows?), also towels sitting in the washer of unknown cleanliness. I like to hope they were.... oversights, but it made me wonder how much cleaning had really happened between guests in the rest of the house.

This house was perfect for our yearly family gathering which included family from out of state. The interior is lovely and spacious with plenty of room for eight of us. Lots of room for cooking and well stocked with most necessities. The deck and yard need some attention but the view of Lake Michigan with access to the private beach outweigh those issues. We ended up spending our entire time at the house. No need to go anywhere else!

We liked the view and the location. We were disappointed in the appearance of the deck and stairs leading to the house. They need to be redone, or refinished. We did have to clean up cob webs in many inside and outside areas. The kitchen had what we needed to make meals in to enjoy the lake Michigan views. The beds were comfortable.

I appreciated the privacy the property offered. And the view of Lake Michigan was amazing. That being said, the property definitely needs work and felt unsafe for my children in some areas. Inside the home blended an updated kitchen and small bathroom with old, weathered cottage aesthetic. It was functional for our family seven. The owner was very friendly and great at communicating quickly. We would definitely stay again if the safety issues were addressed.

We had a great stay with our family of six. The house was clean and we enjoyed the updated kitchen and big family room to hang out in. The bunk room was a tight squeeze for three and the master only had sheer window coverings. The exterior of the house could use some TLC; chipping paint and dead lawn but those were minor eyesores. Saw a couple mice inside so we were careful not to leave any food out. Overall, this is a great location for all the fun things we wanted to do around Muskegon. We loved the proximity to the beach! We utilized the provided beach chairs and sand toys. Having a beach umbrella would be a great addition. How awesome to walk down the stairs and be right on the sand, that really made our trip memorable.

Beautiful home my kids and I enjoyed ourselves. Nice quiet neighborhood. Any time I messaged the owner with questions before our trip he was quick to reply very helpful I would definitely stay there again!! Thank you for sharing your property
