Great with communication! Location was absolutely perfect since we brought our boat and the personal launch was huge benefit for that. Easy ride to downtown BSL and convenient location to grocery stores for shopping.

Great place to stay

We had our travel team coaches and one player staying here. Very nice, clean and quiet place. Not a far drive to ballpark in Kiln. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home

The house was wonderful. Had everything a family could need, we had one little hiccup, called and talked to Patrick and they fixed it immediately. The stay was nice, even for off season. We'd love to visit again.

Great place. Enjoyed fishing from the pier. Nice neighborhood and neighbors. Not far from McLeod Water Park. There’s a restaurant a little while away. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils and bath towels. Patrick was very responsive to our needs and nice. The door entry is a little hard to get into and close. Patrick told us a little trick to getting in. Grounds are kept up and there’s a nice sitting area underneath with a bathroom and storage for your gear. Bring your own fishing bait. Locating a bait shop difficult. Thank you Patrick for allowing us to rent your camp.

Cruisin’ the coast 2023

Very nice, well appointed unit, would definitely stay here again. I would like to bring my boat back for the next stay and do some fishing.

Great place to stay!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The house is clean with everything you could possibly need. The private boat dock and launch at the end of a quiet canal is one of the main reasons we love this property. There is plenty of space to accommodate our two vehicles and boat. We really enjoy staying here and we will definitely be going back. We highly recommend this property!

Great Getaway

Patrick has a great place. Very clean, good view and quiet. Everything my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway. All the comforts of home without the demands. Thanks Patrick. P.S. Might want to update local menus book.

Perfect Spot in BSL

We stayed here for a long weekend with my family and Patrick’s place has everything you need to unwind. Patrick was very easy to communicate with, the place is well described in the listing, and has lots of extras that make this place great! The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook, grill is in great condition, and all the beds were super comfortable too! Access to the river/bay is a quick put down the bayou too and the boat ramp/dock worked out great for my 24’ boat. We will for sure be back to stay at Patrick’s and really enjoyed his place. Quiet, comfortable, convenient, and well maintained. 5 stars!

Great house for fisherman and families. Very child friendly!

We enjoyed our weekend immensely at this house and plan on returning soon. The house was beautiful and was well supplied with everything you could possibly need and more! We loved the location and the privacy it provided. We were impressed with the pier and the underwater light for the pier. Having a private boat launch and being able to park two vehicles and dock two boats were a BIG selling point for us. The neighbors were friendly and gave us tips on good fishing spots. The only issue we had was the door lock sticking and being unable to open the door. After making a grocery run at night in 100 plus degree weather, being locked out of the house was not a good experience when you are hot, tired and have melting groceries. I tried calling the owner several times and left a voice message but did not hear back from him that night. (Perhaps it would have been better to text message him?) We spent 15 minutes trying different things with the door and finally got it to open…. Thank goodness!!! The next day, the owner texted and was apologetic about not receiving my voicemail and acknowledged that the humidity is a killer on the door lock. Hopefully by the time we return, something can be done with the door lock or perhaps a hide a key can be provided?? Other than that small issue, I cannot rave about this house enough and I definitely recommend renting this beautiful place, especially for families with children. We cannot wait to go back!!!

Great property, exactly as pictured. It was clean, convenient, and the host was responsive and kind. It was so nice to have the private boat launch and dock. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances as were the bathrooms stocked with towels. 15 min boat ride to the hwy 90 bridge. Grocery stores are 10 mins away by car. Overall fantastic place!

Our stay was perfect!! Perfect spot that is secluded & peaceful but also only minutes away from anything you could need. A literal home away from home! The location was perfect and all of the extras this owner had available like the ping pong table & hook game kept us entertained! We will definitely be back.

Weekend Getaway

This was an amazing getaway with my family and friends. This was the first time booking through VRBO and they made the process so easy. The house was amazing - we could not have asked for anything any better. I highly recommend this home to anyone that wants a quite and relaxing getaway with everything you need under one roof. Awesome waterfront getaway!

We gathered our adult children and two granddaughters for a weekend together at this beautiful property. The images don’t do it justice. This house is absolutely beautiful and so well stocked with everything you could need and so much more. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway on the water.
