This beach side condo is small and personal and very reasonable. Two story building, with no elevators to wait on. Easy front door parking for great access to your vacation spot.

The ideal choice for couples or small families, this cozy seaside retreat features an extra large bedroom with a king size bed (plus a twin bed for extra sleeping space!). The Kitchen opens up with a breakfast bar, small kitchen table for four. Living room is nicely furnished with sofa queen bed and love seat.

In Tropical Isle, you can drive directly to your front door. A designated beach path leads less than a 100 ft from your door to the surf. Enjoy the coastal shoreline having fun in the sun with family and friends! A condo side pool is also available for extra swim fun. A Tom Thumb convenience store is only steps away for all your shopping essentials.

Conveniently close to the beach!

We loved being so close to the beach access!! The bed was very comfortable. The place was clean and well kept. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We will certainly stay there again.

Cute, quiet condo near the beach!

Cute little condo with easy access to the beach and perfect location for getting around Destin and Fort Walton. Plenty of space for those in our party. Parking spots are handy, laundry on site, plenty of sidewalks to walk to other hotels and a couple of places to eat near Miracle Bridge. Beverly was super helpful with the laundry room during our stay after a thunderstorm knocked out power for a brief while. Would stay again with Sugar Sands if we find our way back there!

Stress free and a great time

Everything was clean and ready. Check was easy and hassle free. I liked the code for the door and not having to keep track of room keys. The location was great as well.

Basic old school Florida condo

Pretty standard quarters, this unit had an original Mad Magazine painting that we all liked. Very close to the beach, about 100 yards away, can view from unit deck. My children really enjoyed the pool and we all liked body surfing in the ocean.

Location is what we really appreciated and the reason for renting it along with the price, 2 min walk to the beach. The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had the main things. Two things that we did not like - there was some musty smell in the kitchen when you first get in from outside, but not in the bedroom. The other thing was that the AC unit was very noisy and loud both in the bedroom and in the kitchen. You can’t really hear the TV when AC is blowing. Overall we had a great time because it was so close to the beach where we spent most of the day.

We had two littles so we went and bought a stopper and just had to fill it with the shower head. Other then that it was a great stay as always at tropical isle!

There is nothing fancy about this the condo but it's very clean and super affordable. Easy walk to the beach with 3 children (Ages 6, 8 & 9) less than 3 minutes. We only take water and just walk on back for snacks and lunch, cool off and head back over. Highly recommend it for a budget-friendly beach getaway!

I had to mop my rental because we couldn’t walk barefoot due to the floor not being clean properly. All of our feet was black on the bottom within 10 minutes. That’s the only negative thing I have to say about it.

Comfortable

Comfortable bed, great little view of the ocean and....a dumpster/construction. But overall nice. Wish it came with the simplest of things like dish soap (NOT dishwasher soap, but Dial), salt&pepper, sugar, single coffee packs. Things you don't want to necessarily travel with, but this unit does not provide any of it. We've paid the same amount of money at other places and the bare essentials were provided.

This unit is very small, not as updated as the other. You could not see out the living room windows bec they were so dirty.

Good location!

Good location, short distance to the beach, next to a convenience store, on-site laundry room which takes debit/credit cards, outdoor pool, access code for getting into unit, family friendly area, short driving distance to the pier, restaurants, mini golf/arcade, shopping, etc. Unit had everything we needed to cook & eat meals with. Just took us a few minutes to figure out the release bar on the twin bed that slides out from under the day bed to convert it to a queen. We did wash towels once during our stay since there were 6 full size bath towels provided in the unit and there were 5 of us. There are also wash cloths and hand towels provided. Also definitely use the water hose set up by the pool to rinse feet and shoes from the beach off before going back in the unit it definitely cuts down on the sand brought in! We enjoyed our stay!

A great place

Overall it was a great place to stay. I loved that it was walking distance to the beach, I could see the ocean from the condo, location was great, Only complaint was there was no dish soap and the shower curtain rod was rusty so leafy a stain on towel when hung over it. I’ll be back!
