Would Like to Keep This a Secret to Myself

This is a lovely home, in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with a view of the Roanoke Sound that cannot be beat. Glorious sunsets. Wonderful neighborhood to walk in and explore. For a relaxing getaway, do not think you can top this.

Nice, quiet and convenient location. Spacious home.

This home easily accommodated my family of 7. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed riding bikes to the park and hanging out at the sound. The only thing I can say about the home is that the kitchen needs a pizza pan. Otherwise, great stay!

Great Place - as advertised

No surprises, was exactly as advertised. We had a great time, great location. Large smart TV was a bonus, could stream all of our favorites (just make sure to logout of any you upload when you leave). Lastly, recommend visiting a local bar on your first night and conversing with the local bartenders. They know the best beaches, with the best waves, best places to eat, etc.

Great house in a great location

We always rent a house right on the beach and this being our first time at Nags Head, we were a bit hesitant to stay on the sound side. It’s a 2 minute drive across the street to get to the beach and lots of free public parking. The neighborhood was so quiet with few rental houses and it was great to take walks in the evening and the sound views at sunset were amazing. The house was decorated super cute, nice updated kitchen, and great location.

Great rental for group trip

Well-kept beach house steps away from the sounds and Jockey’s Ridge sounds access. Quiet neighborhood - great location to relax. The house was neat and well-kept, communications with the rental management company were efficient and timely. Would stay again!

I had a very bad nightmare

I had one nightmare when I stayed there, and I was worried because one of the towns are called Kill Devil Hills. Other than that it was a great home and we loved the stay.

Awesome neighborhood - South Ridge

The neighborhood was great. Very close to everything including Jockey’s Ridge. A short drive to Manteo. The home had plenty of room and was very nice and comfortable.

Adorable beach house!

We had the best time staying at this adorable beach house! The house was set up so nicely and decorated with a great beachy vibe. The house was clean and made us feel comfortable! The views of the sound were beautiful and drinking our morning coffee on the deck with the sound views was so peaceful. It was perfectly located and just a short drive to the beach. There were games and books, and the beds were SO comfy! Will be booking this house again!

Short vacay for the 4th of July

Amazing location, just a lot back from the sound. While there was no private sound access, the Jockey Ridge park beach was easily to get to. The house is also a short hop across the bypass to get to the beach. You have your choice of going north or south depending on how busy the beach spaces are. Very close to stores and shops and a short drive to cross to Manteo or south to the villages. If there is anything to note as a negative, there were some minor maintenance issues that need addressing. One of the exterior doors had no door handle and had a nasty dent. The outdoor shower was not usable as the pipe going to the shower head had a huge crack in the piping. There was also an electrical cable going to a now removed hot tub that is just hanging off the wall. While it isn't powered up, it really should no be hanging loose. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even if it was just a short 3 days. Having a fully equipped kitchen and provided bath towels and bed linens was amazing, saved us from having to bring all of that.

Love this home

I recently rented Gizmo's Getaway with some family members. It is a great location. I really enjoyed being so close to Jockey's Ridge and liked the view of the bay/sunsets. The home was beautiful and well supplied. It was also great to have (protective) parking for 3 cars under the house.

Awesome trip to OBX!

The house was very clean when we arrived. Perfect view of the sunset every evening. Everything is close by, only a 2 minute drive to the beach. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Great house

Highly recommend this house and location! Beautiful sunset views from this house and lovely neighborhood! House is well maintained and relaxing stay overall. We had some issues with plumbing and repairman came right away to fix. Thanks for the great stay!

Awesome home, great location!

We loved our stay here! Great location in Nags Head, just past the hustle bustle during the busy part of summer. Walking distance to nice sound beach and easy travel to beach, shops, very close to a church too. Beautiful views of water and sunset. Quiet pretty neighborhood. Close to great restaurants and dessert spots, including a few of our favorites (Mulligans, Millers, Fresh Fit Cafe, Booty Treats). The house was immaculate, stocked with all the dishes and games you need. Loved that it had an empty pantry for food storage. Very comfy beds and couches. Super easy checkin/checkout process. Would stay again for sure! Thanks gor a lovely vacation home!!

Great Place

We stayed here with our four kids. The place is really cute and nicely decorated. It had all of the kitchen supplies you need. It is right on the sound and a quick drive to public beach access (free parking). I highly recommend this place. It is perfect for 8 people!
