A beautiful, newly renovated, dog-friendly unit at PierView Oceanfront Condos. Swell Life is ready for you to bring your pup, relax, make memories with family and friends, and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer!

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo features a well-equipped kitchen, filtered drinking water (no bottled water necessary!), in-unit washer and dryer, cable (in the living area and master bedroom; second bedroom has a DVD player), Wi-Fi, and three flat-screen TVs. Enjoy spending time on the spacious 24' x 6' porch with beautiful views of the sound in the distance and a peek at the ocean.

Sleeping arrangements include a king-sized bed, queen bed, and twin bed. Linens (bath towels, washcloths, sheets) are provided.

The property offers easy beach access, outdoor grills, two outdoor pools (closed in the off-season), and a children's play area.

Please note that there are stairs to climb to get to the unit; however, there is a luggage lift in the building.

Bringing multiple vehicles? No problem! Plenty of free parking is available, with premium spots up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Swell Life is centrally located to many great local attractions, including the beautiful Jennette's Pier, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet. Fine and casual dining, grocery stores, and much more are also close by.

Nice / Relaxing stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Nags Head. The condo was well equiped with anything needed. Great communicator and easy check in/out. Strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the Outer Banks!

Great people beautiful location

From attentiveness to kindness the property caretakers and property realtor were above and beyond! They really take care of their guests. We had a beautiful stay and got to see tons of dolphins which really made the trip.

Great place for a getaway

Great condo! Centrally located to explore areas north and south of Nags Head. The condo was comfortable and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to make our meals during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location! Nicely appointed unit!

This property is very nicely located near great restaurants (Sam & Omie’s!), Jeanette’s Pier, and a short drive to Roanoke Island and Manteo. Also, about a 20 minute drive to Oregon Inlet and the Pea Island Nature Preserve (tundra swans, herons, white pelicans, coots, and tons of ducks). The condo has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces and nice tvs. The only thing we didn’t like was the thirty two steps up to the second floor which was a bit problematic with taking the dog out (we are in our 70s). There is a freight elevator which was very helpful getting luggage and groceries in.

Great location

We loved the location of this property. Close to the beach, quiet, easy access to many different places. Joe was available to answer any questions and made sure our vacation was relaxing. We were lucky to have great weather all week!

Vacation for the family

The property had everything we needed. The location was within distance of all the great places to see and eat. Access to the beach and Jenette Pier, ideal! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The fact we could bring the family dog was the cherry on top. Thanks for the great stay.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to beach access and the decor is cute. I would recommend bringing extra towels because only 4 full size towels were provided.

Enjoyed our stay

The have enjoyed our stay at the Swell Life condo very much. The place was comfortable, nicely decorated and super clean. Staying on the beach was wonderful. The house keeper helped us timely with lock issue and property manager responded quickly to all our questions. All stars rating!

Island Paradise

First trip to OBX

Wonderful property. Clean, stocked kitchen. 100 steps to the beach. Out of the hustle and bustle yet 5 to 20 minutes from almost everything. Joe was a wonderful host. Prompt response to messages and great suggestions. Mike and Lisa were wonderful property managers. Would definitely book again.

Ocean spray fun

My sister and i had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the outer banks and boy is it beautiful! The condo was perfection. Beautiful and super comfortable. When we go back to the outer banks we'll definitely be staying with you again! And our puppies were super happy too!

With the exception of the Wifi being completely unusable, everything about this rental is perfect. It is exceptionally clean and stunningly beautiful. We had an amazing time.

Beach Oasis at Island Light Paradise

We enjoyed our family beach trip! Island Light Paradise is a short walk to the beach. We were also able to bring our family dog which was a perk. The community was super quite, there are no other rentals in the building that we could tell. Property was very clean and well maintained. Communication with Joe was great—super responsive! We’ll be back!

Ultimate Getaway

This house was perfect, an oasis that our family needed after a very hectic time. It had everything we needed to just relax, cozy living room, the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on, perfect Wi-Fi and peaceful views. When we were rested and ready to go, it was the perfect launch pad. The beach was right there, excellent restaurants, plenty to do or nothing if that’s what you wanted. The management was superb, check in, communication and check out all seamless. Have already recommended to friends and would return again anytime.

Vacation

We had a great time, property management was wonderful, place was great, location perfect. The only slight complaint would be the people above us had a dog that barked a lot . Did not really bother us but might to some who don’t like dogs. For us it was perfect .

Overall Excellent

Everything was great. Only improvements I can add would be to give a couple more mini bars of soap, at least two dishwasher detergent tabs, silverware needs to be refreshed low quantity of flatware, leave 1-2 disposable "Handi-Wipe" type of disposable kitchen towels. All this would cost you very little and make the experience much better. Take you five overall.

Best of both world's

This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view. You did have a view of both worlds... just had to share the ocean view seat with the others in the house. The walk to the ocean is the same as an oceanfront house would have. The luggage lift was a life saver, especially since im getting older and my knees and back just aren't like they use to be. The beds were comfortable and we had all the linens and towels that we needed. Loved the shower in the main bedroom. I believe my only suggestion would be to put some support under the couch cushions as you sink quit a bit when you sit down in it. Other than that, the couch was very comfortable and had plenty of room for people to sit and be comfortable. I want to thank Joe for sharing his place with us while we remembered my dad on his heavenly 63rd birthday. I would love to return..... maybe longer next time and oceanfront if able.

Pleasant Stay

The condo is just as advertised - pictures are accurate, amenities as stated. Check-in/check-out procedures are super easy. The condo was very clean, but you know it is dog friendly from the get-go from the smell (particularly in the bathrooms). Given that it is heavily advertised as a dog friendly unit, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but fresher smelling cleaning products or replacing the bathroom "small spaces" fresheners might help. I suspect some folks pen their dogs in the bathrooms because that is really where it is most noticeable. We had a few minor issues during our stay with the dishwasher, burnt out light, and internet, but nothing to deter us from recommending the unit. In fact, we notified her at the end of the trip because they didn't detract from our stay. The owner is very responsive and I don't think anyone would have problems getting an issue resolved. There is no view from the balcony. Again, this should not be a surprise as it is stated in the listing. It is a great balcony, but literally is facing scaffolding and another building's wall. However, the front entrance of the unit has chairs, a partial ocean view, and is private despite being the entrance. For the price paid, this is a great unit in a nice location. Very close to the pier, plenty of parking, freshly remodeled. None of my comments are meant to deter anyone. Amy is very straightforward in her listing and we encountered no surprises relative to no elevator, view, etc. AND, we liked the Fiesta Ware :)
