Sanders Beach Retreat at Tubbs Hill

Step out your front door and you'll be at the "gem of Coeur d'Alene", Tubbs Hill. Stay one minute from the lake, walk three minutes to peaceful Sanders Beach. Enjoy a five minute stroll to McEuen Park, the library, resort and downtown. Major stores within a 10 minute drive.

With comfort and simplicity in mind, this home has everything you need to take in the best our town has to offer. Whether a solo retreat, a couple's vacation, or a family trip, this is the place you’ve been looking for.

This house is a separate residence, connected by one garage wall. It faces the opposite street of the main house and has sat at the base of Tubbs Hill since 1978.

Apart from being central to all popular downtown destinations, convenience is not far with Trader Joe’s, Costco and Safeway all within a 10 minute drive.

Two collapsible single bed frames are also available upon request in advance. Pack and play also available. Strollers and additional children’s items may be available upon request.

You may hear pleasant noises during your stay as it is adjacent to the entrance to hiking trails and near public beaches. The property is adjacent to our main house, so you may also hear us and our family in our yard.

Lovely clean and comfortable

Everything we needed in a great location. Nice, clean and modern. Loved watching all the dogs going by on the trail across the street and the 1 hour hike on the trail was lovely. Just perfect for us.

Everything you can ask for

We had a wonderful stay at the Sanders Beach Retreat. The location is perfect, quietly situated next to Tubbs Hill and up from the lake and near downtown. The flat is well thought out with everything you can ask for. Everything is clean and of high quality and of good taste. Thank you.

Great location, clean

This place has a great location. Very cute and clean. Minimalistic but well stocked. Beds were really hard for us. This place is connected to a main house. Wasn’t an issue for us but something we didn’t realize going in. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful home!

This was a beautiful and relaxing spot to stay with my husband for our anniversary! Across the street from Tubbs Hill hiking spots and walking distance to shopping and the beach and so many wonderful things in Coeur d'Alene. April was super fast on response and very helpful with getting the information for our stay. We hope to be back again soon!

Excellent Place to Stay

The Sanders Beach Retreat was one of the best vacation rentals I've stayed at. The location is close to town and yet in a quiet neighborhood. April, the host, was easy to work with and very responsive to our questions. The rental had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay. If we come back to Coeur d'Alene we will stay here again.

Great last minute stopover!

We had a last minute change in travel plans and spent a night here. Perfect, clean, new, convenient spot for our family of 5! Comfy beds and all amenities we needed! Amazing communication!

Wonderful clean home in perfect location

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of 4. We hiked and ran in Tubbs Hill across the street, swam in the lake, biked nearby, and walked to all our delicious meals. The beds were very comfortable and it’s a quiet area yet close to everything. The home was spotless and everything is very new and works great. The bedding, towels, etc were all great and they provided everything we needed and more. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great location. Very clean

Very easy check in/out process. House was very clean and updated. Located right next to an awesome trail on Tubbs Hill. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in CDA!

Another great stay!

2nd time staying here. The location is perfect! Close to downtown, east Tubbs park is right across the street with excellent hiking. Wildlife, saw deer and a beautiful fox! Property is clean and comfortable!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend

I had a good feeling about this property when I booked it. When we arrived, we were very impressed right away! The location speaks for itself with Tubb’s Hill Hiking right across the street and in a very charming neighborhood. But inside, it’s tastefully decorated and sooo clean and comfy! Were treated to deer and wild turkey wandering around. Delightful!

Terrific location

Half block to Tubbs Hill and close to Sanders beach. Walkable to all downtown shops/restaurants. Very clean and well appointed 2-bedroom apartment. Had everything we needed. Communication with owner was easy and quick.

Perfect Place to Stay

We absolutely loved this property! It is located in a wonderful neighborhood which is adjacent to the trail head of Tubbs Hill. It has great windows looking out on all the beautiful pine trees in the area. You can walk out the front door and down one block and you will be at the lake. The house is very spacious and very nicely decorated with such a fresh modern feel. Spotless and very clean. The beds are super comfortable. We loved being so close to the lake and hiking trails. Many things are within walking distance. Be sure and drive through the neighborhood and see the houses on Lakeshore Drive just 2 streets down. We loved staying here and highly recommend this property.

Cozy Place

Very clean and cozy for family. Our daughters cuddled up on the couch for movie night and all three slept comfortably in the king size bed. Owners were helpful and quick to communicate throughout the process.

We loved our stay!!! It was the perfect location and the house is so cute! It had everything we needed and was very tidy and modern! Comfortable beds too :) April was very accommodating in helping us with baby extras :) Would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for our little family!

Loved this spot for our family with two toddlers. Right across from a hike that was easy enough for our two and four year old, and walking distance to sanders beach, a park and restaurants. The host also had some toys, books, sand toys and beach towels which were small things that was super helpful for young families! The spot also felt super clean and newly built/renovated. Highly recommend
