Dogs Welcome (limit 2 per stay) and kids are too. Spacious Yard with ponds and a stream, hiking trails all in an upscale home that sleeps 10 with both outdoor, and 3 seasonal hang out areas. Ponds, stream, trails, Hot Tub, Garage Game Room with Dart Board and Air Hockey, large lawn, ample parking, 2 Queen Beds, 1 King Bed, 4 Bunk Bed Singles- 13 Minutes to Torch, 5 Minutes to Lake Bellaire, 1.5 Miles from downtown Bellaire and just around the corner from Schuss Mountain and Shanty Creek. Wifi, Grill, Fire pit and Fire table, ample parking for cars and trailers and room to bring your boat. Community Festivals all year round with Hiking trails out the back door.

Family vacation fun

It’s so beautiful and peaceful! Our family enjoyed it 100%, so many different places to explore and go swim with family around all sand bars and this location was a perfect spot from each place we went. Such a great place to stay.

My family and I stayed a few days here and enjoyed the property. The yard was spacious and the grill was very clean, which we really appreciated. The house was also clean and well-stocked with basic essentials. Our only issue was a musty smell that was likely caused by recent rain and humidity. Melissa was an exceptional hostess regarding this and came out to the property to resolve it herself. She was very communicative and kind the entire time. This is a wetter area, so if you are sensitive to wet conditions as my family was, just be aware of that.

Family vacation

We stayed at this property during our family vacation to Michigan. The home was clean, perfect space for us. The owner was friendly and quick with responses. We enjoyed being close to torch lake.

Perfect location

The house was very comfortable and welcoming. Everything needed was provided plus some extras. The location is ideal and close to everything in the area. We would definitely return.

Great Stay

This house has it all. Lots of yard for our dogs, and Melissa thought of everything you might need. House is very clean and comfortable. We were close to Clam Lake boat launch too for our boat. Torch Lake is beautiful!

Thanks to Melissa and knowledge or the area and quick responses we were able to do and see things otherwise were not aware of. The house was great for our short getaway and the host did a great job with prepping the house. :)

Beautiful home

The outdoors needed a kid of work. Ponds are somewhat like swamps. No fishing. The house accommodated very well and stocked with all essentials needed to have a nice stay. Beautiful home inside.

Nice house and close to Schuss

Property was very clean and perfect size for our family. Melissa responded quickly and went above and beyond assisting us when ski camp was canceled to find another instructor. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating. We appreciated her helping us despite the weather.

Family Vacation

My Wife & I brought our Daughters & their spouses + my Grandnson. Vary clean home well stocked with kitchen essentials & linens. The star of the house was my grandson catching & releasing frogs form the pond. He had a blast!! We rented a pontoon boat for a day, went swimming at Bellaire lake, golfed, cooked scores at the fire pit, went to Shorts Brewery for live music & dinner on Fri. Everyone had a great time!

Home Away From Home

Beautifully appointed home that's welcoming, comfortable, and close to everything in the area. The host is very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure my stay at Bellaire was exceptional. While one of the ponds has transformed into a marsh (probably effects of climate change), there were plenty of frogs, birds, bunnies and deer to make you feel close to nature. The little creek running towards the pond has clear water from the mountain! There is also a nice big trail back of the house around the property line -- don't forget the mosquito spray. M88 Morning Grind is also a spot to make sure you put on your list when visiting the area -- can't go wrong w/lavender or blackberry latte and chocolate croissants!

We stayed here for a week with our grandchildren and our beagle. You ever know for sure what you are going to find when you get to your vacation rental. This place was spot on. It was clean and spacious. The back yard was terrific. We had campfires every night, The woods were beautiful. We grilled out on the Weber grill a few times. Very nice. The grandkids (and the dog) had a blast catching frogs in the pond. There was an air hockey table in the garage that the kids had a lot of fun with. Melissa, our hostess, was very responsive and had a real flair for detail. Overall, a great experience. We hope to be back next year!

Fantastic place for a nice getaway

The property is beautiful. Being so close to Bellaire but far enough away to relax and enjoy the amazing atmosphere was well worth the trip. The house was as advertised and then some. Only being about 10-15 minutes away from Torch Lake was perfect. Plus being that close to Short's Brewery was fantastic, definitely recommend checking that place out. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

It's an absolutely beautiful property, peaceful, and very close to town. The neighborhood duck might wander over to spend some time in the pond. Great Blue Herons, Hooded Mergansers and other birds frequently travel through as well as many others.
