Luxurious 3000sq Ft 4 Bdr House with Private Salt Pool and Hot Tub

Hi Todd, First off I have to say in the last 10 years of renting out our property on VRBO we have never had any of these issues with any of our guests. All our reviews have been extremely positive and our guest love the property and accomodations we provide. We have alway gone over and beyond to assure our guest's stay is as comfortable as possible. Most of our guests return for future stays over and over again which is why the property is always fully booked. In the last 10 years you are the only guest to ever leave a negative review. My husband and I did everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When the AC compressor failed, it was the evening of Easter Sunday. This is beyond our control and the very best we could do was to have a repairman attend the property the following day. I also would like to note that the AC compressor had been replaced less than 12 months ago and the replacement part failed within the warranty period. This was beyond our control and had nothing to do with your suggested "lack of service" on our part. The house has 2 AC units so there was still one unit running to keep the house cool on the lower level while the other AC unit was being repaired. The house temp was still maintained at 72-74 degrees which most people find acceptable. For your inconvenience we had refunded you $800 eventhough you still stayed in the house and enjoyed all the other amenities. When we suggested for you to have an early check out with a full refund for the last few days of your stay, you declined our offer and insisted that you would remain in the house. Perhaps the conditions were not that unbearable!! As for the ice machine it is possible that when you were fillling up your cooler you damaged the unit. Just an FYI fungus does not grow in freezing temperatures and in discussing this with my technician this is a false statement saying is was full of fungus. Simply you could have purchased your own ice for a few dollars and resolved any inconvenience till the new icemaker arrived. As for the TV this was a cable failure by the provider and had nothing to do with the maintenence of the house. Once again was beyond our control and was remedy in a timely manner. In regards to your complaint with the dishes, we replace yearly when needed. During 2022 the house was fully booked for a 6 month period and the replacement of dishes are done regularly when needed. We kindly ask our guests to let us know if there is anything that needs to be repaired so we can address any issues immediately. Amazon is a fantastic service and we will deliver any household item to house if something needs to be replaced. Renting a house on VRBO is not for everyone, there are risks associated with a house as there can be mechanical issues and repairs that do occassionally need to be done just like any other home. Maybe a hotel would more suited for your needs rather than a VRBO property. Again my sincere apologies and trust our refund is satisfactory.
