This private one bedroom unit is the perfect quiet, country getaway with a beautiful sunrise for all seasons. The property is located right in the heart of Loudoun's Wine Country. A cozy one bedroom suite that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The suite includes 1 bedroom (king bed), living area (with queen sleep sofa), fully equipped kitchen, and 1 full bath with heated floors.

The suite is attached to the primary residence, however, you will have sole access to the single point of entry into the suite. The host will be available as much or as little as you need!

Amenities include Keurig coffee maker (with K-cups and creamer/sugar), smart TV, wifi, private entrance, and washer/dryer. Also included are bath towels, laundry detergent, bottled water, and light snacks. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the rolling pastures on the suite's private patio.

Enjoy the spa-like bathroom with luxurious heated flooring. Relax and unwind in the spacious shower with rain shower head. We have extra toiletries should you find that you need some for your stay.

We are located close to local wineries, such as Stone Tower Winery, Three Creeks, and The Barns. We are also close to wedding venues including Stone Tower Winery, Shadow Creek, Birkby House and Zion Springs.

Additional attractions include various breweries, the W & OD Bike trail, hiking trails, historical Harper's Ferry, and a quick 60 minute drive to visit Washington D.C.!

Outstanding property with outstanding hosts

This is the best experience I have ever had with any VRBO property. The guest suite was immaculate, comfortable and beautifully appointed. And Nancy and Al could not have been more accommodating. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be back.

Weekend away

This is a beautiful place that had anything you could possibly need to feel at home. We were greeted with homemade pumpkin raisin bread and a bottle of Rose from one of the nearby wineries. The pictures online don’t do the place justice. And the sunrises? Breathtaking! Even had a herd of deer frolicking in the pasture for one sunrise. Our main goals were to relax, unwind and hit as many wineries as we could. The location is perfectly situated between several clusters of wineries. And when we came back after our tastings the kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice meal. Hoping to make this an annual event and look forward to staying here again. Thank you Nancy and Al for a wonderful weekend away!

Exceeded Expectations!!!!!

From the moment my wife and I arrived until the moment we had to depart, we were in love with this “home”. It was beautifully renovated. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathroom was equally well stocked with toiletries. The bedroom was large with a king size bed with wonderful linens. If all this wasn’t enough, the host left a homemade pumpkin bread and bottle of wine for our enjoyment. We would definitely love to stay there again when in northern Virginia. BTW, the countryside was magnificent.

Beautiful country setting

The host thought of everything. Very clean & modern accommodations. We were greated with a fresh baked bread. The unit was private and well shocked. We would definitely recommend.

Best hosts ever!

Nancy and Al were the best hosts we’ve ever had. So many little details made us feel welcome and comfortable. There were extra pillows and blankets, extra toiletries, snacks, a sound machine in the bedroom, and even fresh flowers. We felt incredibly special to be guests at MGS and even though we knew Nancy and Al were there, we always felt like we were the only ones on the property. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quaint!

My best friend from high school and I stayed here over the weekend and had a fabulous time! The place is well laid out, with beautiful decor and high quality finishes. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and wildlife each morning. I met the owner and she was very friendly and brought us fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. We visited several wineries and had tea at The Tea Cart in Berryville which was fabulous. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

Great vacation in Virgina Wine Country

Mt. Gilead Sunrise was a great place to stay. Location to the wineries was great. The place fit my and my wife's needs perfectly. Nancy was great to communicate with. Anytime I sent her a message it was answered within minutes. I give this place a 10 out of 10.

Exceptional property!

The location was serene and lovely, the rental was clean and beautiful with a lot of extras. Enjoyed seeing horses in the pasture and deer along the woods. We loved our time there! Owner and rental was top notch!

Best Hosts Ever!

This is the cutest little suite in a beautiful spot! Awesome patio to watch the sunrise and the deer frolicking in the morning mist. Everything about the place is top notch - from the outstanding fixtures in the shower to all the thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Hungry from the road? There are snacks and drinks. Need a pick me up? There is a well stocked coffee/tea bar. Worrried about bugs on the patio? There is bug spray outside (it wasn’t buggy). Highly recommended!!

Perfect anniversary getaway

We were looking for an anniversary getaway and our cousin planned their wedding on the same week! This suite fit the bill for us to enjoy both and experience the local amenities in a far more relaxing environment. Everything was exceptional and we hope to plan a return sometime.

August Stay at Mt. Gilead Sunrise

Had a great stay at this nice farm house in VA Horse Country. Hosts went above and beyond to provide great amenities, and the whole process was seamless and easy. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone visiting the area.

This was a fantastic place that was in a reasonable driving distance to all the major Civil War sites I wanted to see. All the items I needed were provided. The deer hanging out in the yard and fields were the icing on the cake.

Great Little Retreat Spot!

This home was absolutely beautiful, and the owners are so sweet! It's rare to find such a well-stocked rental any more, but they had all the comforts of home, from snacks to laundry detergent to extra toiletries, which was wonderful because it is a more rural location. We booked this for my parents to stay in and they absolutely loved it-they got to watch the animals play on their daily walks, enjoyed the patio, and were able to check out many of the breweries, wineries, and activities in the area.

Wonderful Winery Escape

My husband & I walked into a charming & quaint home that met all of our needs. Nancy, our host, went above & beyond to have the house stocked with goodies & a welcome bottle of wine! She had everything you can think of on hand & we felt right at home. The modem home is quiet, peaceful and has a beautiful view. We loved everything about the house & our stay. Very convenient to many local wineries, breweries & farmers markets. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone, as we loved absolutely everything about this adorable getaway!

Perfect, peaceful way to visit Leesburg

This is the kind of place that makes the VRBO experience so much superior to a hotel. This one is spacious, quiet, and very nicely designed and cared for. Mt.Gilead Sunrise-Country Suite

This location is fantastic! The views are so beautiful, the suite is a 10/10. I cannot say how lovely, peaceful, and relaxing it is because words are just not adequate to describe the experience we had. No steps, important to seniors The level of detail, and the more than well stocked cupboard and fridge allowed the 4 of us eat in several times. So appreciated. Also, the sofabed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was a spa-like beauty. We will look for reasons to go back. Thank you, Al and Nancy.

Birthday Getaway

My wife and I recently stayed here as a quick weekend getaway for her birthday to unwind and go to a few wineries and breweries. From the very beginning of booking all the way to checking out, everything was absolutely perfect. Al and Nancy communicated everything thoroughly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They even provided local recommendations. The suite itself was just incredible. It was immaculately clean, modern, and had everything we needed and more. Al and Nancy went above and beyond to ensure every little detail and amenity was there to provide you with the most comfortable stay - even things we didn't think of ourselves that were nice to have. They even provided my wife a birthday card and bottle of wine. I can't say enough good things about the hosts and about the suite itself. Just blown away. It was a weekend we won't forget.

Perfect anniversary getaway

We had such a wonderful time staying here! In fact, it’s probably our favorite rental that we’ve stayed at so far! Al and Nancy thought of everything: from the bathroom extras, to the snacks on the counter, and even to the super sweet anniversary gift (a card and Prosecco), everything we could ever need was there! It was quiet and peaceful in the area, but also easy to get into town for a meal or activities. We hope to get the chance to come back again one day!
