Expected Much Better for Price Paid
When booking our family trip to Orange Beach this was one of the more expensive condos we looked at. We ultimately chose this one because of great reviews and the splash pad for our small children. However, I really expected much better considering we paid a higher than average cost. With that being said the host communication was great and she was very fast to respond.
Cons- Listing not accurate(outdoor patio furniture is not what is listed in picture)
Hidden fees- Parking pass is listed in description but we had to pay $55, only provide minimal supplies such as trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. There wasn’t even hand soap just a bar like they give you at a hotel. Small details made it feel cheap. We had to buy all of these things.
Outdated- The entire complex is dated. Rust on indoor pool ceiling, splash pad faded, 2 out of 3 beach hoses not working, smoke detector in our room hanging from ceiling, very short bathroom counters, and shower head is low and small overall. We have tall people in our family so it is something to consider for comfort.
Not very clean- kitchen & bathroom counters had clearly not been wiped down upon arrival. Balcony windows not cleaned. The entire complex had dirty elevator windows and indoor pool windows. Our door code stopped working twice.
The host also messaged me a couple days into trip to ask if we could allow the realtor to come by and show the condo while we were there which I did not appreciate.
