The Oak Oasis - Gorgeous views and a hot tub

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Great place for families, business professionals and adventurers. Walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park, The New River Gorge National Park and just a few miles from Fayetteville. Centrally located in the area offering hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and many other outdoor activities. We have ~15 acres guests are welcome to explore. In the future, the property will be developed further into a campground as well.

Absolutely loved the cabin. It was easy to find close to alot of things to do and very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was right off the main road, easy to find, and had a nice private hot tub where we spent most of our time.

Really nice cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were super responsive, and the cabin was cozy as could be. It, plus the closeness to the New River Gorge National Park (albeit by car), made for a great trip.

Winter wonderland

Very cozy little cabin right on Rt 60 Nice hot tub nice location. Everything’s great. Tiny hot water tank and it got a little cold at night but had plenty of blankets and all was wonderful Def coming back

This property was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing yet not too far from dining. Very clean and had plenty of towels and linens. I will definitely be returning.

Perfect place

Thank you so much for hosting us. We loved the location and the place itself was so cute and clean. We did a lot of hiking and exploring during the day and this was the perfect place to come back unwind and relax in.

Cute place, nice yard

Nice hot tub. Good location for rafting near the gorge. Some stains on the towels and sheets; would have liked to sleep on white and bleached sheets, they just "felt" a little dirty. Checkin was so easy!

Great for Visiting New River National Park

What you see is what you get. Just a comfortable, relaxing place to stay that's close to Fayetteville and several parks. We slept very well and the hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking.

Great time for the family!

My wife and 5 year old son stayed for a long weekend and this was the perfect space! We had enough room inside to be comfortable when we were inside, but we spent most of our time in the hot tub and down by the fire pit. Hiking, biking, and restaurants are all within 20 minutes, making this a perfect location for us to enjoy and return in the future!

Loved it!

We will definitely be back to stay!! The hot tub is what made our stay the best. I would recommend a better idea for a bigger hot water tank in the cabin & better pillows.

Simple, cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Oak Oasis! The cabin had a rustic feel and was clean and cutely decorated. The location is excellent for anything you want to do in the area. This would be an ideal place for one or two couples, or a family with older children. Access to the loft is a steep wooden staircase/ladder and may feel like a safety concern for families with younger children.

Rafting trip

The property worked for us as we only stayed on night. The only thing that gave us a little trouble was the ceiling height and shower head height in the shower. 3 of the people in my group were over 6 feet tall. Even with that we would stay here again.

Lives up to the reviews

We were there for a Gauley Season rafting trip and enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect (under 6 miles to Adventures On The Gorge). Like most of the other reviews, the shower head is very low but manageable. There were a couple of small issues that were resolved quickly and efficiently. Hot tub was wonderful and appreciated after being on the river all day. The bed was super comfy and we would definitely stay here on our next adventure!
