It was a very relaxing place to unwind after hiking. The deck was wonderful for dinners! The host was very quick to respond if we had questions. I would recommend!

The yurt is rustic but very comfortable with all the necessities. I had some trepidation about the toilet but it was no problem even for middle of the night visits. The quiet, peaceful wooded setting was a wonderful respite. I enjoyed sitting outside having coffee in the morning but if you like to do that, be sure to bring insect repellant!

Wonderful place! We loved the decor, and the bed was so comfortable. My back didn't hurt when I got up in the morning! Being in the middle of the woods was a plus, too. It was quiet and a much-needed break from living in town. Sitting outside on the deck looking up at the sky through the trees was wonderful. Bill was on top of it as a host, and his communication was great. Coffee, tea, drinks, & many snacks were provided. We had everything we needed, though the fridge could have been a little larger. It was a tight fit getting everything in, but overall, we had a great time. If you go in warm weather, don't forget the insect repellent.

Our accommodations were clean, well furnished and cozy. The owner was very nice and willing to help us with anything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could stayed longer.

Great ride from Katy Trail thru countryside and the town of Holt’s Summit to the yurt. Yurt is very comfortable, private, and well equipped. Hideaway in the woods.

One of the most fun places we’ve stayed. Tucked in the woods with the birds and crickets. Off the beaten path but only 20 minutes to Jeff City. Our first stay in a yurt. We loved it!!
