We could not have been happier with our stay. We honestly felt like we were at a home away from home. The house is beautiful as is the view from the back sun room. The location is very convenient. Most importantly, the host was very kind and helpful. We look forward to coming back and staying here.

Great place for our family to stay for the MU/KU game! The home was exactly as listed — clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and smooth throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Close and convenient!

This property was ideal for our stay! It was clean and close to downtown restaurants and very convenient to family that lives in Jeff City! We will stay here again!

There are curtains on the windows, though they are more sheer than room-darkening, and we understand this may not have been ideal for your preferences. In a lovely, old neighborhood of Jefferson City. Easy access to Capital. Easy 30 minute drive to Columbia/Mizzou.

Great stay!

House was very accommodating with cooking utensils, bedding and plenty of other items for a short stay. Great communication from the host. Would recommend talking a walk through the neighborhood and taking in the river views during your stay! Screened in back porch was also a nice place to sit and unwind from the day. 10/10 recommend!

Can’t wait to go back

We loved everything about this house. The location had us 5-7 minutes from everything we wanted to see, the back yard gave us a feel of being in the woods and the back porch allowed us to relax while listening to everything going on around us (it was peacefully quiet so there was nothing but nature sounds)! The owners were so nice and we even chatted with the neighbors. We are planning an adult trip soon and cannot wait to come back

Well tended home

Cindy is a super host, lovely neighborhood and an incredibly clean and well preserved home. Beds were perfect. As noted in other reviews, the only shower is in the basement so be aware for accessibility reasons. Upstairs bathroom has a wonderful jetted tub.

Just wish there was a shower upstairs. We had my grandparents and they couldn’t make it downstairs to shower so they had to use the bathtub

Comfortable Stay

We had a good experience. The house is comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is nice. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking things necessary for our needs. The owners responded well to our requests. We visited after an ice and snow storm and had a follow-up snow while we were in Jeff City. The owner shoveled behind our car so we could easily back out of the driveway. He removed ice and sanded the walk several times so that we felt safe on the walk. The location is minutes away from anywhere in town. I would recommend the house. We certainly would return if we needed a house for lodging in Jeff City.
