Second time staying here and really love all it has to offer but was super hot so we missed the AC this year . Tried to keep it cool with closed drapes and fans but humidity was brutal. Small dehumidifier required emptying 2-3 x a day. Box fans could do with a good scrub and rinse down.

I would’ve been happy to bring you some new fans or even a window air conditioner if you needed it. Please don’t hesitate to reach out next time. My goal is to have you enjoy your vacation. This place was so great. The view alone was worth it, but we walked down along the waterfront got our feet wet, flipped rocks searching for creatures. The sunsets were gorgeous and we made it a point to take the time to enjoy them each night. It was abut cool when we visited the island (50s and 60s in June), but even so we loved the different beaches, the harbors, and just enjoying the nature (including the preserve). The house itself was also like a museum, featuring a lot of interesting artifacts. The whole family found so many interesting things to take pictures of. TLDR; This place was great.

This is a super place! Easy check-in, very clean, extremely well stocked, and the location and view are incredible! Stayed a week, wished I had booked 2 or 3.

Really great cottage! Cozy setting, fun vintage vibe, clean, and well-appointed. The bathroom is really nice and very clean. The queen bed is very comfortable. Great place to stargaze. We really enjoyed the beach and the quiet setting. Would definitely stay here again!

The views were stunning, and the cottage was clean and inviting both inside and out, offering a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of space for fun. The host was attentive and considerate throughout our stay. It is a great cottage to visit on the island!

What a beautiful spot!

This property is directly on the water and is such a peaceful and comfortable spot to stay. We enjoyed the views of the lake, lounging by the water to watch the sunset, and gathering around a fire in the firepit. The house was also a comfortable place to lounge and relax when we had a rainy day.

Wonderful honeymoon spot!

This was a beautiful place on Washington Island. With lakeside views, a firepit, comfortable furniture, supplied kitchen, etc, it was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our honeymoon. The property manager made the experience so easy with little to no stress. Definitely will be returning!

Beautiful cottage on the lake

This is a wonderful cottage with terrific lake front access for kayaking, swimming and lounging by the waterfront. Very thoughtfully and thoroughly appointed kitchen and lovely bathroom. Owner was very responsive with communication requests.
