Waterfront 1 bedroom and loft cottage with small private pier on Garrett Bay

Walk out your front door (or sit inside) and enjoy views of Garrett Bay. Death's Door Bluff is to your left and Washington Island to your right. Your own small pier is directly in front of your own private retreat. First floor one bedroom/one bathroom with steps to a loft that has another sleeping area. There is outdoor sitting and viewing space both by the house and down on the pier. Boat tie ups on the pier for docking your day fishing/recreational boat (no overnight docking available). The cottage has a well equipped kitchen (refridgerator, range, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric skillet and gas grilll) and all the amenities for a quick vacation away from life (towels, beach towels, beach chairs, linens, paper products and soaps/shampoo). Pelicans fly in over the bay, fishing off the dock is best on the bay for bass, views cannot be beat. Gills Rock and ferries to Washington Island and the Shoreline restaurant are a mile around the bluff. Ellison Bay with restaurants, coffee shops and a well-stocked "Pioneer Store" is a short two miles away. Come enjoy one of the most beautiful bays in Door County!

This place has everything on site for the kitchen, bedrooms, beach towels, games, and the view/environment!! We will not need to look anywhere else and will reserve in advance for sure!!!!

Small cozy pet-friendly house, styled in shabby chic, reclaimed furnishing a nice touch. The bathroom plumbing was not was adequate, shower pan filled up quickly, really short showers, due to small emacerator plumbing combo, was not aware when booking. It was an inexpensive stay compared to other VRBO properties in the area. If rustic is what you’re looking for this is it. The hosts were very pleasant.

This property was so cute and comfortable for four adults, with two of us on the main floor and two in the loft! The window AC unit cooled us down well in the summer weather and having access to firewood and outdoor space was awesome.

We’ve been going to Dora County for about eight years now and this is by far the absolute best place we have ever stayed. Jen is a fabulous host. Accommodations were amazing and if you’re wanting privacy, this is truly the most beautiful place. It’s right between Gills Rock and Ellison Bay, which is two of our favorite places to be. I highly recommend this place.

This property was super clean and in a beautiful location away from the hustle of busy Door County. The kitchen was nicely equipped, but we couldn't find any measuring cups. I bought some at Piggly Wiggly and left them for the next guest. The kitchen and living room furniture could use some updates as they are pretty well worn and not very comfortable. Beds were comfy and I think we all slept well. Over all we enjoyed our stay and family experience.

Small but cozy cottage on a beautiful property on Garrett Bay near Gills Rock. Serene and quiet while we were there. Great access to the northern part of the peninsula.

Great communication from host. Beautiful views of Garret Bay. Had a fire pit, family games, and books. We appreciated the full size kitchen appliances and the comfortable bed on the main floor.
