This property is located on 10 acres for privacy and retreat in the town of Mount Joy. Great for a Couple's Getaway or for a Family Vacation with kids! There is a fire pit for great s'mores -making and quiet surroundings for rest and retreat. The tennis court and swimming pool (in season) are for the use of the renter only. This single home welcomes visitors who want a home away from home. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room, TV room, fully equipped kitchen and 2 baths. This property is even nice for fall and early spring vacations. Due to the private setting, there's lots to enjoy off season. Discounted 28 day rate for off season only. (mid Sept-Mid May)

Relaxing family vacation

Peaceful location. The land and sky was beautiful! Spent most of our time enjoying the pool and the view. Great communication with hosts and the house had everything we needed.

Hidden Gem

This was a great find hidden behind an Amish farm. The weather was good the week we were there and we had lots of pool time. We played tennis, rode bikes, visited Turkey Hill, walked along the Susquehana, and watched movies. My 11 and 7 year old grands loved it.

A great property for truly getting away from it all. The owners were responsive and the size was ideal for a couple or family with a couple of kids. I will stay here again.

Rejuvenating and Peaceful

The property was amazing. Well kept up and the owners are great. The views from the property are amazing and very relaxing. The pool was great and the whole house and set up was great. It was my relaxing retreat after visiting Hershey Park with my grandkids. It was a combo or fun things to do and a relaxing place to come back to. We all really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing house!

My family and I had an amazing time staying in this home. The hosts were helpful and the checkin and checkout process was very easy. The property has a very nice pool and basketball/tennis court which my kids loved using. It is a relaxing location surrounded by farms and nature. The house has everything you could need! Thank you so much for opening your home for our stay! We will be back again :)

Great quiet getaway

Great property to disconnect. It's the perfect combination of quiet retreat while still having everything you need nearby. The pool was great, the court was great, and the house came with lots of toys and games. Great choice if you're looking for a quiet getaway with fanily

Beautiful place, exactly as described.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was exactly as described, beautifully set up, clean and very homey. The privacy was amazing, and the scenery was fabulous. Owner was always very honest, pleasant, accomodating, and easy to work with! We look forward to coming back again soon!

Another perfect stay in Paradise :)

We have come to Nancy and Bob’ property five years in a row and we plan to come back. This is a little piece of paradise! The house, the scenery, the pool, the tennis court, the fire pit, all is perfect! And all of this is close by many things to do in Hershey and Lancaster! We look forward to our days here, where we relax, build memories and charge batteries :) Big thank you again! See you in 2025.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out! Bob and Nancy have literally thought of it all! Everything we needed was right there. Very clean and well thought out. We will definitely be back!

Amazing

We were so looking forward to this vacation as we lost our 20 year old niece this year and it has been quite traumatic. Well, it definitely did not disappoint! Absolutely peaceful, the whole family played tennis at night and the pool was amazing. The owners were tremendous and there is everything imaginable here. I would highly recommend it and would love to stay again! We could have stayed here and gone nowhere else, felt like home away from home!

Paradise is in Mount Joy PA

We had a wonderful time and will be back! Nancy and Bob are great hosts and the communication with them could not have been better. The house was clean, comfortable, with all amenities needed and in the perfect location! If you are lucky to book this house, be confident that you will have the best time both relaxing all day at the house or traveling to the vicinities and relaxing at the end of the day at the fire pit, in the pool, walking around or playing tennis. Treat yourself and your family by staying at Nancy and Bob’s paradise in Mount Joy, PA!

Description matches actual perfectly

This home is secluded. I have not been to a more relaxing rental with as much to do as they provide. For families of all sizes and ages. There are a ton of toys for younger kids to play with and the older kids will love the pool and tennis court. This home is well equipped, we didn't need to bring anything extra. I would highly recommend this unit if you are visiting Hershey(half hour) or Gettysburg(1 hour twenty minutes). We did not explore Amish country as we thought the kids would be bored, but it did exceed our expectations. Nancy was very accomodating and hospitable.

Awesome!

What an amazing rental! My husband and I have utilized VRBO to stay in many locations...Florida, Cabo, California, Outer Banks, St. Marteen, etc. This rental exceeds all others in the feeling of home the owner has created. The owner has thought of every detail in what the traveler may need and has it there! And the quality of every detail is top-notch. The pool and tennis courts are perfect. I am somewhat persnickety about pool water and the water was as clear as a mountain spring! The lighted tennis courts have allowed my hubby and I to swing the rackets even after dark. The bed and bedding are as luxurious as the 5 star resorts we have stayed. I have slept like a baby. Waking up in the mornings in this location have been so peaceful...watching the sun rise over the countryside is beautiful. For the visitor to south central PA..you can't beat the location....just far enough off the beaten path to provide for relaxation from days of exploring but close enough to the tourist locations you want to see. And most importantly, the owners are wonderful to deal with...just a phone call away. In closing, I would not hesitate in highly recommending this vacation rental! Thanks so much for your gracious hospitality!

The outside of the house was wonderful. The deck was huge, had lots of shade and comfortable furniture. The pool was big and mostly clean. The tennis court was in almost perfect shape, which is amazing given how old it is. The inside of the house was small, the furniture was rather uncomfortable and the tvs were small. We stayed here for the outside amenities and had a great time because of them. We hardly turned on the tvs or sat on the furniture inside, thus why it was a 5/5 for us.

Amazing relaxation

Wonderful Getaway

My husband, 14 year old son and I really enjoyed our short stay. The home was perfect for our needs, decorated nicely, and the pool was definitely the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed many hours swimming, having fun, grilling lunch on the BBQ and eating outside. The property was very quiet and private. We did have a little trouble finding the correct gravel road to get to the property through the Amish farm but it wasn’t a major issue. We ventured into Mount Joy and Elizabethtown (recommend eating dinner in the catacombs at Bube’s Brewery in Mount Joy) but spent most of our time in the pool. We found the Sorry game in the game closet and played for hours each night before going to bed. And the sweet treats waiting for us when we arrived were wonderful! Thank you Bob and Nancy!
