Featherstone is located at 26 South Sundrops Trail Cullowhee, NC 28723 is an open-concept design featuring a great room which combines the kitchen, dining and living areas. This open space is perfect for hosting family time, especially with the inclusion of a beautiful stacked stone fireplace for gathering around. Enjoy mountain living at its best on the outdoor patio, which features another gas assist fireplace for entertaining alongside a partially fenced green space for privacy and relaxation. Featherstone is located in a privately gated community known as Sundrops on Caney Fork. The nano-resort offers a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, pedestrian friendly walking trails, and pocket parks for reading or resting. You can also try your luck trout fishing on the banks of Caney Fork river which runs along over 2,200 feet of the community. The Sundrops clubhouse offers an indoor lounge, fitness center, covered pavilion with large outdoor fireplace, rocking chairs. It even houses an outdoor kitchen complete with grills and smokers for cooking up your favorite meals. Be sure to relax in the chaise lounges alongside the resort style perimeter edge pool and spa or pack a picnic and enjoy tables and seating.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful week long stay in this beautiful home. This home is very clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay again. It is in a great location and we enjoyed walking the trail located on the property. The neighborhood is very friendly and our dog was also very comfortable here. It definitely gets a five star rating.

Wonderful property terrible sleep

The house was amazing. However the beds and pillows were awful. The beds were either very cheap, worn out or both. The pillows were actually worse than the mattresses. The flattered worn ouy pillows should be dicarded. Any run of the mill 2 star hotel has much better bed mattress and pillows. The poor sleeping experience was very out of line with the exceptional house. Disappointing based on the cost of $900 for two sleepless nights.

Another Excellent Stay

Featherstone is one of our favorite rentals in the Sundrops on Caney Fork community. The house is welcoming with a full stocked kitchen, comfortable den area, and elegant decor. We have rented Featherstone numerous times and will continue to do so. We highly recommend it!

Great stay at Featherstone!

We loved everything about our stay! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the shower spacious and with great water pressure and the entire place was very clean. The pool and hot tub were also wonderful. We were visiting our daughter at WCU and it was a perfect location. We will be back!

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

They say location is everything and this town home was! The surrounding towns were interesting and fun to visit and all destinations we drove to were easy drives. After long days of being out our town home was a welcomed quiet and relaxing place to spend the evening with family.

Perfect Getaway

This was our second time staying at Featherstone. We are impressed with how well it is furnished and decorated, kitchen is well stocked, and very clean. Sundrops on Caney Fork is a great community. Our favorite amenity is the hot tub and our son loves fishing in the creek. The neighbors are friendly as well as their dogs. We will be back!

Mimi and G visit

We spent two weeks at Featherstone visiting family who live in Cullowhee. We had a fantastic time! My granddaughters loved the pool, my daughter discovered friends who live in Sundrops and my sol enjoyed fishing the creek. We just enjoyed the quiet, peaceful neighborhood especially the back porch.

Loved Featherstone

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Feathersone. The home was immaculate and well equipped. We had a fire every night on the patio and took in the area. I will most definitely return to this place and rent from Sundog in the future. They were very easy to work with and always only a phone call away!

Birthday Trip

We were visiting for my oldest’s birthday and we also had a wedding to attend nearby. The stay was perfect! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and has a beautiful view of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in town.

Perfect weekend

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed every aspect of this house. The only thing that could make it better would be if the inside fireplace was a gas insert.

Perfect Vacation Spot

We selected Featherstone for our son's graduation from WCU. The home was more than enough for our family of 3 including our dog. The home was well decorated and supplied with essentials. We truly enjoyed the heated bathroom floors! The location is definitely a plus as well. Close to Cullowhee but a short drive to Glenville and Cashiers as well. We have already planned our return trips!

Reprieve from grief

My husband, our pup and I had just said goodbye to our other pup and needed a peaceful get away to start the healing process. This home was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet and in a location where you knew you could find a little peace. Wonderful walking trails, lots of bird watching and such a beautiful place in the valley. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about the place from inside the home to its surrounding. The location was great with the river nearby where we enjoyed fishing and its close proximity to Cherokee. The pool at the clubhouse was outstanding. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Paradise

Featherstone is a slice of paradise. The location and views are incredible. My family and I loved the field and the creek. The cabin is very clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Sundog provided great details on how to arrive and check out. We absolutely love this place and will return.
