The entire cabin was a delight. There was Comfortable beds, clean, well appointed, great towels, and nice touch was the stocked coffee/tea area. Were only there overnight, wish we could stay longer..

The easy part was the cabin was as described. What we enjoyed most was the privacy. That was awesome, peaceful and "homey". We definitely will consider this property the next time we go to Pennsylvania. Also, the contact with the host was "spot on" and greatly appreciated!

The stay at the cabin was great. The host was friendly and the check-in experience was flawless. We arrived just after a snow storm, and the property was beautiful. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything that we needed to feed our family. We plan to return in March.

Clean, historic cabin was delightful! Upgraded in kitchen (dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker- made it easy loading our water bottles for hiking)and bathrooms. Lovely property with 3 acres- we heard turkeys & pileated woodpeckers, saw deer, northern house wrens & a hummingbird! One of the first things I noticed was poke milkweed (Asclepius exaltata) near the hammock- very cool native plant that supports monarch butterflies. We used the cabin as a base for area hiking(Laurel Highlands, Wolf Rocks, Beam Rocks), some geocaching, and went as far as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water and Ohiopyle State Park. I will miss taking my coffee out to the front porch to listen to the birds each morning.

Bathroom and kitchen were very modern and that was wonderful. The cabin was decorated with so many beautiful antiques that really brought out the time period of the place.

Perfectly updated secluded stay

Lovely location, secluded in the forested mountains but still close to restaurants and shopping/recreation areas. Top notch staycation destination, with updated interiors that do not leave you wanting.

So nice! Beautiful, spacious and so clean! We were so impressed with this house. The pictures don't even do it justice. The upstairs bathroom is nice and big. Actually, all the rooms are bigger than i would have expected from looking at the outside. We were only in town for a night but would have loved to stay longer. I would 100% recommend this cabin to friends or family. If we're ever back in the area, we hope to stay here again.
