Sycamore, Cozy get a way! Newly renovated on a private, stream-side lot.

Welcome to Sycamore! Our nicely refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The stream-side location (yes that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the REAR entrance. There is garage parking for up to 4 motorcycles upon request with booking. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. There is plenty of space to roam, and I am working on creating a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles! Feel free to clear up any twigs on the grounds for kindling. There is also lockable storage in the shed behind the garage for your bicycles, bring your own lock! You might find a bike in there for your enjoyment as well! There is a patio box that has some sporty games and things.
If you are looking at this listing, you probably already know a few things about Ligonier, and now you'll have found the perfect spot to enjoy all it has to offer!

Food, specialty shops, antiques, entertainment and more. Be sure to stop by the newest addition, The Tubmill Provisions (you might even catch a free stage performance). Slightly out of town to the west is the infamous Idlewild Park and Soak Zone!

Flight 93 memorial
Fallingwater
4 state parks - Linn Run, Keystone, Kooser,

The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The house is the perfect getaway, cozy, peaceful, and full of cabin charm. We especially loved relaxing by the fire pit and listening to the nearby stream.This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely be back again. Whenever we’re in the area, this is the only place we want to book, and we plan our trips around its availability. It truly feels like a secluded cabin retreat while still being conveniently close to Sheetz, Dollar General, and other essentials. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! The house was meticulously clean and so well equipped for our family of four. Every piece of furniture and art were thoughtfully placed. The kitchen was well stocked and our host was super responsive. The back porch and yard were a place of comfort and peace

We really enjoyed our stay in Ligonier! The home was comfortable and very well stocked with everything we needed, which made our visit easy and relaxing. The location was perfect — close to downtown and all the local shops and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful. It was a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the area.

Wonderful accommodations and location!

This was the perfect home for a girls weekend getaway. Beautiful stream on the property. Unfortunately we didn’t have the greatest weather during our stay between thunderstorms, wildfire smoke and a tornado warning. Rick, however, was a fantastic host and reached out to us to be sure the water level of the stream wasn’t becoming a concern and with an offer of access to the basement in case a tornado actually formed. Luckily that was not the case. Overall we had a great time and recommend this property and host. Thanks Rick!P.S. The almond torte was delicious!

The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love being able to use the full kitchen to prepare meals. The bedrooms and bathroom are exceptionally clean and well appointed. For the first time staying here we strolled the backyard and looked down on the creek behind the property. We have not been taking advantage of the outdoors on this property and feel like we've been missing out on something spectacular! The firepit looks like a family fun destination, and we look forward to a future opportunity to try it out. I do love morning coffee on the back porch and taking in the quiet nature out back.Checking in, I forgot about entering the # after the code, so it took a while for me to remember and figure that out. Don't forget to enter the code and the pound sign.

I have taken much pride in the remodeling of this little ranch that I have owned for more than 10 years. Now, every inch on the inside is fresh and sound. The grounds outside open and inviting and some are a work in progress, but will be worth a second visit when the butterflies come to town!

The nice thing about the property is the acclaimed fishing stream, Mill Creek, that splits the property in half! It provides for interesting birdwatching, and other critters! There are miles of back, country roads
that are great for biking or just a casual stroll.
