Walk to park, enjoy live music, picnic, fishing or just relaxing. Access CSH Trailhead directly from backyard. Sip a glass wine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our expansive deck with fire pit. Master bedroom has fireplace and private deck overlooking the harbor. Life size 2 story playhouse for the kids. No car needed to enjoy this beautiful town.

Convenient to Huntington Village, Paramount Theatre, Whaling Museum, Fish Hatchery, Fire house Museum and much more.

Wonderful stay!

The captain cottage was exactly what Mom and I wanted! Beautiful views of the bay,super easy five minute walk to the main street of Cold Spring Harbor, adorable house with everything you need, and Kim was on top of it every time we neededhelp. Thank you so much for hosting us and cannot wait to be back!

Capt’s Cottage - home away from home

Great location. Perfect house to gather with family -easy walk to charming village and local park - within driving distance of all the places we needed to visit. Kitchen has all amenities and living area is very cozy!

Family reunion trip

Home was very clean with all supplies needed for our stay of 3 nights. Location was perfect with ability to walk to town as well as a bonus a state park hiking trail accessible from the back yard.

Great for weekend in Long Island!

Would definitely stay again!

Great communication from Kim and a beautiful house that accommodated my family perfectly. The play house in the backyard was a huge bonus. Kept my kids entertained for hours!

Short getaway

Such a comfortable and well appointed place. Thoughtful touches throughout, and great views of the water and wildlife. The finished basement includes a great hang out spot, and a ping pong room!

Great stay!

This was a well appointed home, with everything you could possibly need. The view of the sound was wonderful. Our stay was in February to visit with a relative but we definitely would come back in the summer. Kim was a great hostess!

Cold Spring Sanctuary

Our stay was excellent and very welcoming! Like a home away from home. Kim and George are very kind and welcoming and put a lot of effort into our arrival. We arrived in the winter and can just imagine how amazing the other seasons must be. An absolute gem of a place!!! Cant wait to see the Captain again, he's so cool.!!! All the best for Kim, George and family.

Cold Spring Harbor getaway

This is a quaint property located off the main road going through town but you would never know it. It is quiet and tranquil. Property is clean and well maintained. The owner has provided many amenities, my husband appreciated the well stocked coffee"nook." We walked everywhere and it was fun to explore the waterfront. A quick drive to Sagamore Hill and Oyster Bay. We enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive to my questions.
