What a great place, great location, great time! We especially appreciated how accommodating the host was, since we were meeting our son and infant grandson, and didn't have to bring a pack and play. The host provided so many nice touches from waters, popcorn, wine, etc., in the kitchen, to various necessities in the bathroom in case we forgot anything. One quirky thing I was super grateful for was that the sheets and towels were neutral smelling, like a hotel, not heavily perfumed (which has caused distress for us in the past, but we forget to ask ahead of time). We had a great experience, thank you!

Great location and amazing host!

We had a great stay at this property! Close to everything and wonderful neighborhood. Close to the water too! Outstanding hosts- very easy to work with and very helpful!

Great stay great family

Our stay was perfect. Joel and Dana are both graious hosts, and the property is yards from the water. We hope to come back soon.

Great spot

The property was exactly as described, even a little roomier than anticipated. It was a short walk from a beautiful park and beach. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again

Awesome property!

The hosts were so welcoming and left delicious cookies and wine for us to enjoy during our stay. The space was decorated beautifully and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the short walk to the beach!

Our host provided everything that we could possibly need and then some. The rental is big! We had room to spread out. The sunrises and sunsets at the end of the road were a bonus!

Great place & location

It is about 100 yards from the beach/park and 1.5 miles from the town center. 10 minutes from New Haven. We had a lot of room with a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Great overall location.

Perfect place to stay

Beach, one block away! Beautiful place. Went to class reunion in East Haven. My children loved it. My wife and I were very happy with place and owners! We would come back here again....

Perfect and quaint

We were only there for 2 nights, but it was perfect for what we needed…. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING you might need at your home away from home. Location is great. Steps to a quaint park and beach. Lovely little town and nice surrounding area. Thank you for letting us stay and we highly recommend it.

Nice apartment in Branford

We really liked our stay, the beach is nearby, we would recommend visiting Yale University and the Thimble Islands. Branford is a nice little town with many historical houses. Dana was very welcoming and provided all these little things to feel at home. And we slept wonderful in the comfy beds.

Cozy apartment by the beach!

Very clean, cozy, and amazing location! We stayed with our 2 and 3 year old, so the playground and the beach being only a block away was great! So many thoughtful extras throughout this property, with the hosts readily available to answer any questions! 10/10!

Exceeded expectations!

We can’t say enough good things about this apartment and the owners. The apartment is so well decorated, super comfortable and clean. There were many nice surprises we kept uncovering - they thought of everything and supplied us with such thoughtful amenities- perfect stay!

Every Detail Was Perfect!

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The host thought of every little detail to make the experience seamless and enjoyable. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed. I’m already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Labor Day getaway

Last weekend trip of summer before dropping off daughter at college. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Great location. Walk to beach. Quick drive into New Haven for pizza crawl. Really appreciated the cookies, wine, snacks, and cold drinks in the fridge on arrival.

Great Stay

My husband and I, along with our 21-month- old had a great stay. Located a two-minute walk from a public beach, the house is the perfect size for we three. Everything was very clean and neat. We really appreciated the little extras we found but did not expect. Kid's dishes and a toy box

Awesome family friendly rental

My husband and I visited Branford with our two small children (3&4). The apartment was a fantastic home base. It was convenient to everything, especially the beach, and we really appreciated all the little touches- a toy basket for kids, cookies and other treats, cold water in the fridge and ample toys. We couldn’t have been happier!

Don’t pass this one up!

This was by far the most comfortable, easy, VRBO I have ever booked. The house is beautiful! It is so close to the beach. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely. The hosts were incredibly gracious and friendly. We were given welcome cookies, wine, and water. It was just an overall amazing experience. I am planning on staying with them again!
