The Host was wonderful, cottage very close to the pier and all the shops. The only issue we had was that although it sleeps 10, the furniture in the living room was very small and there weren’t many appliances. A cabinet was emptied and wooden pieces inside were coming off. The AC units were taken off the walls and replaced with floor units that took up space and the former ones were left in the corner of the dining area. The walls and doors were not very clean. The doors stick, no locks on the bedrooms or bathroom, just the little things that were unexpected and made it more difficult to navigate.

We had a great time here! I come to Emerald Isle every year but have never stayed in this area. The location is perfect, easily walkable to the beach, fishing pier, and local shops and restaurants. The house is nicer and more spacious than we expected, and the bunk beds are full-sized, so they are easily shareable if you had that many people. There is a great outdoor elevated deck with chairs that has great views of the sunset. 5/5 stars, absolutely worth the money, especially during off-season!

Went to the beach to fish on pier at the last minute. Cottage is located in the perfect spot. Close to pier, restaurants and stores. I highly recommend this cottage. I will definitely stay here again!

Great family trip

The property had all the amenities we needed for a family trip. We enjoyed having a full kitchen with a washer/dryer and our own sleeping areas. The location is great with easy access to Bogue Inlet Pier. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

We throughly enjoyed staying here. Its close enough to the beach and pier to walk. We fished swam and had a great time.

Cute house

This place was great. We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved having the bunk beds. A short walk to the beach which was a plus. The location was amazing. You can walk to pretty much everything.

Nice easy walk to the pier and also to many shops and restaurants. The shower was clogged but we were able to fix it. If would be nice to have water or water bottles provided. The filtered water container in the fridge was frozen. Overall would definitely stay again.

The house was just what my wife needed. It is super close to the Pier so that you can just walk to it instead of paying for Parking for the beach daily. The host was super easy to get in touch with when needed. Also you can walk to alot of the Stores near by. I slso recommend going to the Point an also a Visit to Ft Macon

Cottage by Bogue Inlet Pier

Beds were comfy, location was great. Literally a short walk to the pier and beach. The only downside to the cottage was that it was shared property with the main house and we had to share the driveway with others. I didn't think it thru when having a house that sleeps 10 and only having one bathroom but it worked out! As long as we all showered at different times. There were plenty of towels available. The cottage had everything we needed. Tv, wifi, beds were comfortable too! Great location to drive out to town or walk to a restaurant too!

The location of the property is excellent! The beach and several restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The check-in process was smooth. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the property. However, the property is older and in need of repairs/maintenance. The front door handle came right off within a days. The wooden deck should be treated to deter mosquitos, many of which made their way inside. The day before our departure was a rainy one and the roof in the master bedroom started leaking, eventually making it inhabitable. On the plus side, Cathryn was very responsive and resolved issues promptly. She fixed the door handle within a couple of hours, provided bug spray and dropped off extra towels for the wet areas of the master bedroom and a rain barrier for the back door where water was seeping in through. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, just wished the property was in better condition.
