The property boasts an exceptionally large living room, a well-appointed kitchen complete with modern appliances, and a generously sized dining area. Enjoy year-round relaxation in the four-season porch, while the lower level family room, equipped with a pool table and ping pong table creates an inviting family atmosphere. There are also two convenient laundry rooms, and a kitchenette, ensuring ample space for every need. Additionally, the property includes plenty of parking space, making it perfect for families, golf groups and gatherings.

The house was perfect for our golf trip. Comfortable accommodations for our group of nine. All the couch seating was great for our group to watch World Cup soccer at the house. Would easily stay here again!

This is a great place to stay if you have a large group. Having 6 bedrooms allowed for enough privacy and the living and dining room were spacious enough for everyone to gather together. My favorite room was the screened in porch.

We had 14 adult men in Grand Rapids for a family golf outing. We found the house could handle our accommodations for sleeping, meals, and plenty of space for parking for all our vehicles. I would recommend this house.

Excellent place to stay and the hosts are even better! After getting news that our group was there for a golf trip there were balls, tees, and a case of beer waiting for us when we got there! Thank you so much. Super clean house and so much room for everyone to stay comfortably! With a group of 8 that is hard to do. If we are ever in the area again, we know where we are staying. 5 stars!

This was a great location for a large group for a weekend trip to Grand Rapids. We really enjoyed staying here and it allowed us a great home base for our trip! Was a clean property, very accessible, and the host provided very clear check in and check out instructions

When the oven is on the stove top control knobs get very hot.There is a leak in the downstairs bathroom - the floor stays wet.Suggestion: use warm white light bulbs for a comfortable atmosphere.

No guests have ever mentioned the stove top control knobs being hot, we will be sure to look into that. We remodeled the upstairs bathroom and added the en-suite bath this winter, but unfortunately ran out of time to remodel the basement bathroom before guests were scheduled to stay. We welcome you back to stay with us next year when the basement bathroom is completely updated and new. :) We are happy you enjoyed your stay.

Great place

We booked this for our wedding party to stay at before and after the wedding. Everybody had a great time and loved the amount of space and activities available at the rental! Thanks for allowing us to stay at your great place

Great for a group

The house does not look big, but it comfortably holds many many people. Everything about it was enjoyable. It is on a fairly busy street, but that was never an issue. Once you get inside, it's very open and spread out. It is geared for groups to get together and relax

Great group spot. Excellent set-up for fun times with friends & close to downtown if it's rainy

Property was very clean and the hosts were very responsive to answering questions ahead of time so we knew what the setup was for everything ahead of time.

Family Wedding

Our large family was able to stay altogether while in town for our brothers wedding. Wendy was a very responsive and helpful host. The property works well for large groups.

We had a very enjoyable stay! Had plenty of space for the 12 of us. We had one issue but Wendy walked me through how to resolve it. Very friendly and helpful! Definitely would stay again! The fully stocked kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable Ave the pillows were amazing.

This house provides LOTs of space! Just as it says. Its bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The kitchen has space to cook with multiple people; the dining room and living room seated all of us. There is also an extra fridge in the basement which we used as well as the laundry room. There was plenty of parking on the driveway. We always look to stay at homes that allow family togetherness as well as multiple bedrooms & bathrooms. The hosts are excellent and quick to respond! We stayed here with a larger group-11 adults and 5 children when our daughter got married. Our family loves to play games and the host provided board games in addition to the pool table, ping pong table and foos ball table in the home. The 2 bottles of wine for this special occasion that were setting on the counter when we arrived for our celebration in addition to the board games were a special touch as the hosts made an extra effort to welcome us. The outdoor cement patio has a gas fire-pit and seating area that we thoroughly enjoyed as well. There are also some nice attractions such as Millennium Park - a 10 minute drive - that provided a park, sandy beach with lake and a Splash pad.Unfortunately during our stay we had some uninvited guests - mice that arrived in our kitchen- on 2 of the 7 nights that the hosts mitigated quickly, explaining that unfortunately the neighbors have excess trash. Overall , I would highly recommend if u r looking for a place with space!

Decent trip

Overall the stay was good. The house had plenty of beds and a large kitchen/dining room. We did have issues with the air conditioning not working while we were at the house, but luckily there were fans in every room for us to deal with the problem.

Chicago play

Parking was great. Sleeping accommodations were good. Bathroom quality and number was marginal. Sleeping 16 with 3 toilets, 2 showers would be uncomfortable.

Thank you for your review Bob. We are careful to assure that all of our accommodations are described in detail in our listing where it shows that there are 3 toilets and 2 showers in 2.5 bathrooms. As can be seen in our reviews, we have accommodated very large groups (up to 20 individuals) in the 3,700 square foot home and have never had an issue with the bathrooms. We are sorry to hear that the 3 toilets and 2 showers did not seem adequate for the 7 individuals you had in your group that stayed 1 night. We do intend to remodel the space this winter (in the off months) to allow the space to offer 3 full bathrooms. Perhaps your travels will bring you our way to stay with us again and experience the upgrades we make.
