Me and my girls really enjoyed our stay here. It was a little more rustic than we had actually thought but once we got settled, it was an amazing stay. The host was a great communicator and the neighborhood was super peaceful. It was also easy to get to so many of the beautiful waterfalls and other sites from this location. We would definitely stay here again.

Tin Roof Stay

We have stayed here twice in May. We fish the area and cabin is very comfortable with everything you would need. Great Stay!

The home was comfortable and very convenient. While there was a problem with the code we were given to log-in, the host was extremely responsive--I've never had a host get back to me so reliably quickly. Overall a great stay.

Great place just off Dunsmuir Ave

Great place at a great price! The host is really friendly. We go up there for fishing so most of the time just eat and sleep there. Would stay there again. Thank you!

We had a great stay. Thank You Kathy for letting us enjoy the cabin. Had everything you could need. Great time fishing and checking out town.

The living riom has lovely lazy boy chair to gather and talk with your group talk and the deck is awesime surrounded by trees, a nice place to gather for fir morning and evening meals.

Beautiful and cozy

We loved staying at Kathy's cozy, beautiful cabin. The location was great. Kathy was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to Mt. Shasta.

Vintage decor in an 100 year old home that was very reminiscent of staying at my Grandmother’s in SD. I would definitely recommend.

Super cute, cozy place. Comfy beds, and great view. Very short drive to the ski park, super convenient location. Communication with the owner was easy, and she was super sweet!

Family trip to waterfalls

The home is old. The description online states this. There is a stale smell that hits you when you walk in. The kitchen allows you to make meals and not have to eat out. Easy to get in touch with host.

I’m sorry the cottage was closed thru out the winter so I apologize for the not fresh air smell!!! I will most definitely address it!!!ty!!!

Full of adventure

Came from Lassen national park, while in town enjoyed area hikes such as Massabre falls (so cool, hard to find), Hedge falls and awesome Pluto cave hike! Free shasta dam tour is great. Communication was clear and helpful, town is small but walk to eateries, home well stocked for cooking. All bases covered by kathy! Quiet area. The hiking book was helpful. Thanks for the excellent wine and picnic supplies! Wish there was laundry facilities. Overall lovely area and stay, remote for cell service which was true in all of mt shasta area.

Dissatisfied

I really don’t know why anyone would stay here. I can’t list the amount of things wrong with this place. No modern convinces. All the furniture needs to be taken to the dump! I think a marching band was staying above us. Worst beds I’ve ever slept on. Portable heaters are too hot or too cold. No TV stations or streaming. What a nightmare. They even tried to bump the dates I already booked. Please don’t make the same mistake I did & never rent this dump

I urge every and all readers to go to my Air bnb sight (Dunsmuir Cellar Cottage) and read the 80 plus reviews of over 10 years… I have a 4.6/5.0 rating… The renters were a little unsophisticated and not in “the know” in my opinion, of my house style or description.. Every house in Dunsmuir is 100 years old and mine is 109 and clearly vintage cottage isn’t for them…Please see my reviews on Air bnb… I challenge them to find a better 109 year old cottage in Dunsmuir.. They did not follow the checkout instructions or do their dishes… and yes, I would not host them again and more specifically if you have an older, cottage vintage home I would urge you not host them… !!!! PLEASE look at my reviews on Air….you will be so happy you did!!

Clean, family-friendly, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. Super close to the Main Street with restaurants so you don’t need to drive around. Nice bed!

Tolle Ausgangslage für vielseitige Unternehmungen und Wanderung. Unterkunft hat einen persönlichen Charme. Die Nähe der I5 verlangt geschlossene Fenster.
