First time to Florida? This is the place to book!

When deciding where to book our family's first visit to Florida, there were a lot of places near Tampa to choose from. Thankfully we hit the jackpot with this one! We LOVED everything about stay! The location couldn't be closer to the perfect beach with so many shells. We appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful details. It is evident this is a special place to the hosts and their family. The condo was stocked with everything for the beach: toys, umbrellas, chairs, a picnic size ice chest, and a variety of kid's life jackets. A bonus was the warm pool if the beach got a little windy.

Perfect week at the beach

We had such a lovely stay in Indian Shores! This place was awesome and very large for our 5 person family. Great kids room with bunks! Right on the beach in a perfectly quiet spot. We will definitely be returning here!

Amazing spot

Perfect location and fantastic owners

If you are looking for a quiet, uncrowded beach, look no further. Even on a holiday weekend, the stretch of beach in front of his condo was not the least but crowded. The pictures on the balcony of the breathtaking views do not give it justice. I have stayed in many rentals, and Starlyn is absolutely the best owner I have ever interacted with.

Great Vacation!

Our stay at the condo was wonderful. We were so surprised and delighted with all the amenities that Starlyn provided from kids books and toys to any cooking needs to beach chairs! Starlyn was very helpful suggesting places to visit and all we really had to do was arrive and start vacationing!

Gorgeous getaway spot!

Our hosts were welcoming, helpful and generous. Their homely condo was perfect for our family to spend a very relaxing week. Access to the beach and sunset views second to none. Perfection!

Shore House

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We had everything we needed in the condo. Beautiful sunsets and an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of shade by the pool. The Salt Rock Grill was excellent! Starlyn went out of her way to accommodate us. We hope to return next year!

Family at the beach

First of all the property owners were amazing to us. We arrived several hours early because of various transportation issues and they went out of their way to make us comfortable at the pool while the room was being cleaned. With a 3,5 and 8 year old with us that made a lot of difference. The property itself is very clean and had everything we needed. The couple of times we did have questions the owners responded almost immediately. They even ordered a blender for the property when they found out we wanted to use one. The pool was great and the other guests we met were very friendly. The pool area is stocked with all kinds of pool and beach toys that the kid used. We ended leaving many of the things we brought with us in the car.. The view from the balcony and Master bedroom was amazing especially the sunsets. The beach which is basically out the back door was lovely. There is a really nice nature area right across the street with a boardwalk thru a mangrove area. Its not long maybe 1/4 mile one way but the kids really like it. Overall we had a great time and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

The best owners ever!

We have rented over a dozen units in the area over the years. This unit is in a class by itself. Not crowded, friendly neighbors, well equipped with pool toys, beach chairs, etc. Very generous soaps, cleaning agents, laundry soaps, towels. Two parking spaces. Everything works. Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen. Good Gulf view on a quiet part of the beach. The owners are first class. Almost daily check-in to make certain that all is going well. It is obvious that the owners live in the unit when not rented as it is well cared for and not beat-up like the usual beach rental. It is a cozy, well maintained, clean rental that is hard to beat.

Home away from home

By far one of the best stays yet. Beautiful sunsets right off the balcony. And everything that you could think of was there .an the owner was the best person id ever delt with.an was just a call or text away .theres only 10 units there which was so quiet an privet having its on pool.will definitely try to get back.

February Sunsets

The property was fantastic! Very peaceful and quiet. Starlynn and Jim were wonderful hosts. I feel as if we made new friends in Indian Shores. They provided so many useful household items for our use and gave us wonderful advice for places to visit and dine. We truly enjoyed the easy access to the beach for daily walks and shell hunting as well as the balcony over looking the gulf for the beautiful sunsets.

Kind and Responsive Hosts

I was a bit nervous about traveling to the beach with my family and twin 5 month olds. Starlyn and Jim were so helpful and accommodating. They secured beach umbrellas for us and a pack n play for each baby which was a lifesaver! I have stayed at a lot of rental properties over the years but was so impressed at how well the unit was stocked, how many extras (laundry soap, paper towels, dish soap) we were able to use and how sweet and kind the hosts were. They let us check in early so we didn't have to kill time with 2 little babies. Wonderful stay and the view from the balcony is one of the best I have seen!

We are coming back!

Amazing experience and we want to come back asap! The host (Starlyn) was beyond thoughtful with even offering to check in a day early (without charge) so we could get all of our kids at the airport (arriving different times) for our family reunion at the beach. She was in constant contact to see how we were doing and provide suggestions for food, activities, and fun in general. Best host we've ever had! The condo was perfect for the 6 of us and we had enough room to spread out to eat, play games, read books, or play cornhole on the beach. The balcony was large and we often congregated there for morning coffee or the evening sunset. We also loved the reading nook off the master bedroom where everyone took a turn reading a book (and falling asleep). The condo is extremely well stocked with books, movies, games, beach chairs, etc and nothing can compare to the view of course! I can't say enough wonderful things about Starlyn and her condo and we will absolutely reserve it again. Great location and you must try the coffee shop just a minutes walk from the condo.

Beautiful ocean views

Starlyn was so sweet to work with and was very responsive with questions and resolutions during our stay. No television in the master bedroom, but maybe I missed that while looking through the listing. Great ocean views and loved listening to the sounds of the waves at night.

Could not have asked for better

This property was clean (but a bit cluttered). It had a great layout for our family of four. The location cannot be beat though! Amazing gulf views with dolphin sightings and hatching sea turtles. The owners are very attentive and provide some great recommendations. We did not cook, but everything was there if we needed. Highly suggest Indian Shores Coffee a very short walk down the street for the best muffins! The beach was immaculate. We had both calm and windy days. Little to no seaweed and tons of shells. The pool was a great alternative and very refreshing. This is definitely going on the "coming back here" list!

Perfect place to make some wonderful family memories

We had an amazing experience with this property. The owner was fantastic and sent us very detailed instructions on access, parking, directions, etc. days before arriving. The home was cozy and perfect for our family of 5. It was clean, well-organized and had all the amenities we needed. The balcony view is amazing and made the perfect setting for morning coffee or an evening drink. You are steps from the beach, and the owner-provided chairs, toys and games were greatly appreciated. All the home appliances were very nice and easy to use. The location was exactly what we wanted. Indian Shores is much quieter and quainter than Clearwater Beach, but still very close to some nice coffee shops, grocery stores and souvenir shops. The owner was awesome and checked in on us once in a while. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

great location

We enjoyed plenty of beach and pool time. There were several excursions, some close and some further away. There was grocery store and shopping near by to get all your food and beach items. our family made many great memories at this condo. thanks

Too much stuff!!!!!

We have stayed at places, both nationally and internationally, once or twice each year for almost 25 years. We have never felt like we were using a room in someone’s house before. There is their personal stuff EVERYWHERE!!! Every drawer and shelf was filled with stuff. They even left numerous items in the refrigerator and in the pantry. Some people might have felt that a bonus, but in the 25 years, we have never experienced this. I do think it’s great to have starters of tissues, toilet paper, and soap, so you don’t have to run right out to the store. The towels, especially the wash cloths, were in dire need of being replaced. They did not match, and the wash cloths were what I would consider a rag. Numerous of the VRBO’s we’ve stayed at have a laundry service where all towels and sheets are provided by them. I think we could have overlooked quite a bit of it if it wasn’t for all the STUFF everywhere - claustrophobic feeling. We felt as if there wasn’t anywhere to put anything because of all of the personal belongings and the abundant amount of decorative items. Room in the bedrooms was limited with filled bookcases and decorative items. They had plenty of games, etc , but not organized and all closets stuffed. I do want to say that the owner was extremely friendly on all occasions when we were contacting her. The location of the condo was great and the beach not having public access, was wonderful.

We picked the perfect week and the perfect spot for some days of rest and relaxation. The host was such a sweetheart and so accommodating. We will definitely be back for many more visits. Thank you for everything! The memories we made were priceless.

Ideal place for multi generational family

My son, daughter in law, two grandsons under three and I stayed at this Indian Shores property. We were speechless when we walked in the door and saw the view. 3rd floor unit steps from the pool and beach were ideal for our family. The fast elevator made it easy to get kids and gear to and from the space multiple times in a day. Lots of age appropriate toys for indoor and outdoor fun for two energetic boys. Plus a pack and play for the 1 1/2 to safely sleep in. We would definitely recommend this place and the price was much more reasonable than last year's Indian Shores property.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

Starlyn was so accommodating for our stay at the condo! We loved sitting on the balcony and being steps away from the beach. The heated pool was great for some of the cooler days we had! The condo was well equipped and had everything we needed - would gladly stay here again.

Comfortable just like home!

We enjoyed our stay and everything was provided! The pool very refreshing and the beach close by! Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. Can’t wait to return!
