The Sunsets!!

Located right on the ocean. Can see amazing sunsets sitting by the pool!! Fantastic location close to everything. Very convenient.

Adequate, Basic, no frills

Great location on Ali'i Dr. For me it was fine. Bare bones in the useable dishware and under sized fridge, nice gas stove and counter/eating area. Parking is directly out the front door for your vehicle. Older well kept property.

Decent Stay

Nice location just past all the busy areas of Kona. Nice ocean view from the pool. It’s a bit dated but bathroom has been updated. Walked into a faint musty smell, chairs had some stains. Great free parking space right in front of the unit. Many of the units are full time residents. Lots of kids.

Upgraded bathroom, new refrigerator, great 5 burner gas range. I only needed AC twice in 3 weeks, safe to open Lanai door at night. Has reserved parking spot at door, same level.

First two nights on the Big Island

Condo was perfect for the three of us (My son and his college roommate and me) to get situated on the island. Clean sharp and smart with everything we needed to get our vacation underway.

A month in paradise.

This condo has every thing you need to have a great vacation. We rented a car, as to really enjoy the island you need to do. Bed was comfy and we used the sofa bed and it was as good as a sofa bed could be. The home owner is available for anything you need.(But only if you need, very respectable of your privacy.) We had a great stay and if we are ever able to do this again would stay here again.

We arrived late when we got into the room, we started packing our stuff and we noticed that there were roaches on the kitchen floor and then there were ants that were running across the counter , so we put all of our food into the refrigerator and then continue to make our bed when I went to make the pull out couch bed There were no sheets for it all there was pillows and a comforter so I had to sleep on that bed with no sheets. I shook out the mattress pad and hoped that there were no bugs on that. So when we got up, we decided to make breakfast and every cabinet we opened up we saw roaches coming out of it. There were roaches in the bathroom drawers. There was only one roll of toilet paper on the spindle and that was it. We decided that we weren’t going to stay there another night and try to look for another hotel room, but there was nothing available for Friday night so we had to stay another night. We did end up finding a hotel room for Saturday. The owner did give me a refund and said she would have the property manager spray the condo. The area is perfect and the pool view is awesome. The condo was clean except for the roaches. I really think it needs to be updated though the kitchen sink was falling apart also!

This was potentially a good place to stay however, our experience was that the room was not cleaned from the previous guests and we were unable to reach the condo owners or property manager to have them clean the room. There were no towels to use ( dirty laundry set aside in the washroom w dirty wet towels hung from the wall)- we had to buy our own towels; washroom garbage was not emptied; dirty toilet and hair in shower; coffee grounds left in the coffee maker- We tried reaching out to both VRBO and the contact # that was left at the condo if there were any issues and were unsuccessful. We did not want this negative experience to ruin our vacation so gave up contacting them after multiple failed attempts… if they had sent someone to remove dirty laundry, change bed sheets and provided clean towels for us- we would have been content to overlook everything else. We backpacked across SE Asia in hostels so our expectations are not really high but for the price we paid, having a clean place is not an unreasonable ask. I live full time here on island since 2020. I had been coming back and forth from Denver, Colorado since 2012. When I got locked down here at the start of COVID, I took it as a sign, I was supposed to be here full time. I love our sleepy little town.

This older complex only has about 90 units. Is a mile walk to the pier (which is where town ends). Short distance to some little beaches. The complex has about half full time tenants and half rentals.
