Great condo in a great location for a Kona visit

Very nice property that has recent updates and is well appointed. Host was wonderful in communicating and added personal touches such as notes and helpful guides for our visit.

December 2024 stay

What an amazing experience and host (Viki)!!! Viki provided an abundance of information on things to do, places to eat and anything you might want to know in the area. All amenities you could possibly think of where there and ready at our disposal. She even offered accommodation for early check in without us asking. The bed was very comfortable and the location of the property was in close relation to so many things! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Fantastic Cost and Quality

This studio condo had everything we needed for our stay in Kona. The cleanliness and quality of the unit was top-tier, and exceeded any VRBO we've ever stayed in. Vicki was a great host, with effective, excellent communication before and during our rental. We highly recommend this rental, and would look to rent from Vicki again if we were ever back on the island.

Quick Kona Stay

Property unit was clean and organized. Pool area was nice, but we only used it once. Location is nice, close but not too close to the busy part of Ali’i Dr.

Nice Place

The apartment is close to the shops and restaurants within a short drive. The apartment has everything we needed so it was comfortable. It’s right next to the main road but quite at night. It’s also about 20-30 minutes from the airport so it was convenient. We had a nice stay.

Very nice studio condo in Kona

Studio is very welcoming, clean, and organized. You feel right at home the minute you walk in the door. Owner is truly gifted in hospitality! Close to restaurants and shops in Kono.

Surprised so close to busy road

We enjoyed our stay at Kona Shores, but initially were dismayed with the location of our unit with a busy road right outside the bedroom and the lanai located surrounded by the parking lot. In a little quieter location the space would have been perfect as it was very clean, well stocked and convenient to beaches. Thanks!

An excellent home base

Newly remodeled studio with everything you might need but didnt have want to pack such as cooler, chairs and towels for the beach. Kitchen well appointed with nice pans and utensils, spices and condiments. Loved the comfortable bed and air conditioning, made it a great place to rest up between adventures.

Great property, clean, good location, communication great

Place was like home, well furnished, comfortable, clean, Great communication, help with travel, places to visit, close to ocean, nice pool, appreciate all the stuff we had & didn’t have to go by, furnished refrigerator & bathroom. AC was good, kitchen area well furnished, beach supplies. Close to outside grilling.

We stayed a month, best place we have rented . Very clean, comfortable bed, well stocked essentials. Great kitchen, everything worked. Vicky was very helpful and accommodating.

Nice, clean and walking distance to everything

The place is great, if you don't want to rent a car. Everything is walking distance. We use the BBQ and the pool every night and we were alone and quiet in the pool area

Spectacular!

We loved the condo! It was perfect for my son and I. The location is wonderful, the pool is beautiful (as is the laundry room!), and the condo was stocked with absolutely everything we needed, as well as with things we didn't even know we'd need! Hostess Vicki could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our stay was fantastic!

Great Jumping Off Spot

We were in town to inspect a home we are planning to purchase and run as another vacation rental. We were VERY happy with Vicki's response time, apartment set up and accommodations. As vacation rental owners, we know what is good and what is not, and this was GREAT!

a great short stay at Kona Shores

Great property! Best equipped kitchen ever in a vacation rental. Recently updated in an older complex (really like the tile floors). Nice furniture, comfortable bed, beautiful pool. Solid AC and double pane windows manage the heat. We'll be back.

It was clear that the owner is concerned about the comfort of her guests. A wonderful Aloha gift was waiting upon arrival. The unit had everything that we needed, and more. We were very comfortable and content there.

Awesome all round property and experience

This was by far the cleanest property we have ever had the privilege to visit. We were in town for a wedding, the location was awesome close to everything we wanted to see and conveniently located for shopping and restaurants. The property is as advertised and much more, we found everything we could have asked for in the kitchen and available in the restroom and needs for the beach. The pool overlooks the ocean and is a short walk across the parking lot. We will absolutely consider staying again when we are able to make our way back to Kona, wonderful Host and the property exceeded our expectations.

Perfect in every way

We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was by far the best stocked unit with everything that we needed from beach gear to everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Very conveniently located to all the Kona attractions including two farmers markets and a bike rental station right across the street but not right in the hustle and bustle of town. It felt like home instantly and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks Vicki for the warm welcome and helpful trip planning suggestions!

Completed stocked

We fully enjoyed our stay. This place had everything we can think of, even beach chairs and an umbrella! The place was very clean, and the shower, the kitchen, the bed and the location were all great. The owner was very easy to connect and very helpful. There is no ocean view from the apartment, and there is a two-minute walk to the pool. It is a nice pool and free.
