A cozy retreat near Acadia National Park with strong Wi-Fi and serene surroundings.
Nestled in the quiet village of Bernard, this charming cottage is set off the main road at the end of a short, wooded lane, offering privacy, comfort, and the calm pace of life on Mount Desert Island. With high-speed Wi-Fi, a comfortable work setup, and minimal distractions, it's the perfect spot to catch up on work if needed or relax after a full day exploring Acadia.
Wake up to birdsong, take a stroll to Back Beach for a morning reset, and enjoy a peaceful, productive day with nature just outside your window.
Whether you're exploring, working, or simply unwinding, Wicker Way Cottage offers the perfect getaway.
FIRST FLOOR: Entry leads into a small mudroom for outdoor gear and shoes. Kitchen with table that seats 4 to 5 comfortably is positioned next to a sunny window for the morning sun. Living Room with flat-screen Smart TV leads into a Bedroom with Queen bed. Full Bath with combined tub and shower also includes a laundry area and has two entrances, one from the Master Bedroom, and one from the main Living Area. Living Area also features a heat pump that serves as an AC unit sufficient to cool the main living area. Window fans are available for the second floor and master bedroom for where the heat pump might struggle to reach.
SECOND FLOOR: A narrow staircase leads to an open Bedroom with two sleeping areas tucked under the eaves. One side features a double bed, and the other features a single bed.
OUTDOOR SPACES: Deck tucked off the back of the house offering privacy from neighboring properties with gas grill, outdoor seating, and dining area. Fire-pit area is located next to the house above a granite outcropping. Yard and woods surround the back of the house and is safe for play.

We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a good location for exploring Acadia. Everything we needed was there, and the host was very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a really great and relaxing visit to Wicker Way! It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, away from the bustle of Bar Harbor. It's an easy drive into the park and over to Bar Harbor, and we enjoyed all the towns and villages in between, especially Southwest Harbor.All of the essentials we needed were provided. There were just two of us, but there's room for family in the extra two bedrooms. We enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee and all we needed for a restful stay. Thank you for such a great property!

A very comfortable house—& bigger than it looks in the pictures. Beautiful yard and great location on a quiet road. Private, with 2 porches. (But this is Maine, so bring your mosquito repellent ) Our dog loved it too !

We had a fantastic time here. I loved the location and the proximity to what we were doing. The house was lovely and I will definitely be considering coming back here if we ever visit again

Great property near Acadia National Park. The house was exactly as described and the cost was fair for the location and amenities. Well worth a stay here.

Perfect stay!
We loved our stay in this cozy cottage on the quiet side of Mt.Desert Island! The property had everything we needed and access to the park and great hikes was easy!

A quiet location and a great jumping off point for adventures in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (Udder Heaven and Mainely Meats were a great find!).

Great place
Check in was easy, the house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Very peaceful area but not too far from all the things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the fire pit outside!

Great stay
We enjoyed our time. The home was in a great location for us in proximity to the hikes and sites we wanted to see. The house was comfortable, quiet and easy all around.

Great Stay
Enjoyed the property and would come back again. Ran into a couple of small issues that ended up being remedied. This is a great place to stay if you're headed to Acadia

Just what we were looking for....
My wife and I wanted a Maine getaway with our dog that we could explore Acadia and Mt. Desert Island. We had a lovely time and the home was exactly what we needed.

Wonderful Cottage
Our family had a great visit at this cozy cottage. We are glad we stayed near Bernard, much quieter than the Bar Harbor area. The cottage was clean, quiet and peaceful. The space was just right for our family of five. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.
