The condo itself was beautifully renovated, very clean, and had plenty of space for our family. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was updated and well stocked, and the direct beach access was a huge plus. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and waking up to the ocean each morning. The host was responsive and easy to work with throughout our stay. That said, the building itself definitely shows its age. While the condo unit was excellent, the overall property and exterior areas felt older and in need of updates. There were large balcony support braces on every floor that partially obstructed the beach view from certain angles, which was disappointing compared to how open the photos appear. We also had some concerns with the assigned parking area. Our designated spot was directly where a drainage spout emptied water, so we constantly had to step over puddles/water getting in and out of the vehicle, especially after rain.Another thing worth mentioning was the extremely strong air freshener scent used throughout the hallways. Whenever neighboring units opened their doors, the smell would drift heavily into the condo. If you’re sensitive to strong fragrances, it could definitely become bothersome during the stay.Overall, we still had a good experience because the condo itself was very nice, updated, and in a great beachfront location. Just important for future guests to understand that the building amenities, exterior condition, and some common-area issues.
