Beautiful, immaculate and comfortable for 9 people staying 2 nights. So well-equipped for toddlers with baby gates at the entrance to each stairwell. Kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the Brita water pitcher, large cutting boards, well-stocked spices and paper products (napkins, paper towel, Kleenex, garbage bags, ziplock bags) that were provided. 4 deck chairs and small table on the sun deck were perfect. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Loved having 4 bathrooms (again well-stocked) to get ready for family pictures! Walking distance to Grand Bear so we enjoyed the miniature golf course. Super close to Starved Rock and Matthiesen State parks.

The Unit had plenty of space for our littles to run around. Sometimes pictures make spaces look bigger than they are - NOT the case here! It was clean. Beds were comfy. Jason was very responsive and quite accommodating when we found out we had to stick around a few hours longer than we originally thought! Would stay here again if we find ourselves in the area!

This cabin was super cozy and comfortable, and it met our needs. We enjoyed family time in the living area, watching movies, talking, and playing games. I'd definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get away and enjoy some quiet time.

We stayed at this same property in January 2025. It was exactly the same. Clean and fully equipped..When we checked in the air conditioning was set on 82. Economy mode. We totally understand. We gave the property owner a call and he helped us lower the the temperature for our stay. He answered our call immediately. Thank you

I brought my family out to hike trails in Starved Rock during spring break, and this rental was perfect. It's located very close to the sites, and the host was excellent. Clean, comfortable, and uncomplicated. We will return!

Staying in the cabin was so nice I did not want to leave to do any activities. They also put in the extra touch of decorating the property for the Christmas season giving us a home away from home that fit us all!

Great place for family to gather

The cabin was a perfect place for our family to gather. There were plenty of rooms and the property owners were great to work with! We will definitely stay here again!

This was a breeze! Communication was easy. The place looked even better in person than the pictures. We really enjoyed the fireplace and all the coffee options. It was a quick 5 minute drive to both local state parks, so this is the perfect place if you are looking to be close to nature. And check out was easy, which we appreciated!

Kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed items to cook your own meals. Beautiful gas fireplace in main living room. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable bathrooms had so many amenities included. Very clean and cozy. There were 6 adults from Michigan and Missouri that reunited for some laughs and games. Perfect setting for this adventure, and would be perfect for families with young children. Jason was excellent with communication. Always a quick response We would absolutely stay here again! Perfect location for the nearby State Parks - Matthiesen and Starved Rock

Excellent short family stay

We enjoyed our short break…the house was clean, spacious, had everything required and is very well located for the State Parks. Jay was very helpful as the host.

Lots of attention to detail - wine fridge, 2 pak n plays for toddlers, great coffee setup, lots of comp toiletries, extra towels and extra blankets. We needed a big space and we got one that was well planned.

The place was even better than pictured. Well stocked with many thoughtful extras that made for a very comfortable stay. Jason was great to communicate with during the entire process. Hope to be back in the future and our group will surely encourage other family members and friends to stay here.

Comfortable and spacious!

A group of 5 adult friends enjoyed their stay! The area is quiet and the home is well stocked, making this a great place to enjoy a weekend together.

Stayed here with two other couples for my husband’s 60th. It was perfect. Lots of room & very spacious kitchen for our “family dinner” that we cooked. Lots of small touches make this rental extra special like spices, ear plugs by the bed, bath salts for the tubs, ect… Out of all of our rentals this has been our favorite.
