Had a Great stay!

Very Clean, lots of games the kids loved, beds were comfortable, reasonably supplied kitchen, loved the waterpark, no shampoo or body soap so bring your own as stated by at least one more person. Will be glad to stay again!

Great Stay

The villa was perfect for a family stay! We were able to play games as a family and when they kids got board they can move on to another game. The beds were so comfortable and there was another 2 inflatable beds.

Great place right near Starved Rock

Cabin was way bigger than expected. Lots of games and activities, and everything you need for a good time.

Great location and a fun stay.

The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Plenty of towels and basic kitchen cookware were provided.No condiments or coffee are provided, which is normal, but it is something to keep in mind. There isn't a close grocery store, so it's worth bringing any food and ice you want to eat there.Overall, it's a nice place for the area. We would bring the kids again!

Perfect spot to explore the area.

Everything at the property was great. Very spacious , clean, and quiet. My wife and I played shuffleboard, kids would love all the games. Right next to Starved Rock and across river from cute towns.

Great location for the water park, hikes and down town. Lots of games and fun things to do in the villa. You need to bring everything- shampoo, soap etc do come prepared even if for one night!

Comfortable, fun villa in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Janette's villa! We arrived late at night, which made finding the right building a bit confusing for us, but the welcome we received with the beautifully lit Christmas tree in the living room was so special. The space was great for our group and we all wished that we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the games. We already plan on staying in this villa the next time we're traveling through.

Not enough for even 8 people

The property is small for even 8 persons. Couch/sofa in the living room is not great for use and you will get back pain if you sit for shorter periods too. Jetted tub was not clean. Mattresses were very bad(spring mattresses) as you would get back pain without extra pillows. The property can’t hold 12 persons for sure as it was not enough for 8 persons. This property may be good only for 6 people as it’s small

Great location, good house

First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Nice Enough!

This place is cute. Overall it was clean. The master bedroom is huge. We just stayed for a weekend. As we didn't have kids we didn't utilize the games, although my wife and I did try to play air hockey, but the table is old and didn't work well at all. In my opinion, it takes up a lot of the living room space for something that does really work well. Out biggest complaint is that the air conditioning did not work. I messaged the host and asked and really the only reply was "well it should work". The weekend we were there is was around 90 outside. No matter what we did, the house never got below 80 and that was by morning. Most of the time is was in the mid 80's. Neither my wife or I could sleep, and hanging out at the house wasn't pleasant. We almost went to a hotel the second night of our stay. It would have been nice if they had at least attempted to solve the problem, or maybe at least see if they could do something for us, but the host just ghosted.
