We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable! We really enjoyed sitting on the front deck watching the deer and turkey's in the evening. The hosts were great! Very responsive, helpful, and very nice! It was great to have a fenced in backyard for the dog.

Absolutely wonderful property and host. Enjoyed watching deer frolick in the fields, hummingbirds fly about, and turkeys wornder theough each day. Dogs loved the backyard. Convenient to town and New River Gorge, yet far enough to feel like you are in your own little slice of heaven. Look forward to staying again.

This is a large house and property for the two of us and our black Lab. The beds and furniture are clean and comfortable. The entire place was spotless and uncluttered. Our hosts live nearby and were able to help when anything came up. It is a beautiful area to explore near the New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed it!

This place is a real gem! You drive a bit back from the main road to the clean, quiet house that is surrounded by mountains and acres of woods and trails. We loved sitting out on the porch, watching the deer and turkey venture up close and the fog rolling through the valleys at dawn and dusk. The pretty little pond with lily pads and cattails is stocked with fish. And there’s a beautiful hike up through the property to an amazing view! It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Endless Wall and New River Gorge Bridge. About an hour and a half to Sandstone Falls. It really is convenient to a lot of hikes. The host lives next door and is incredibly kind and helpful, while leaving you to enjoy this quiet retreat! We highly recommend!

Great hosts on a lovely piece of land with access to their own hiking trails and a relatively close location to the park which made daily travel to NRG easy.

House was spotless & had everything you could possibly need. Mike, our host was super nice! The backyard is fenced in which was great for our wiener dog! We saw deer, turkeys, & beautiful birds everyday from the front porch. Truly an awesome place to stay!

Very peaceful property about 20 minutes from the Bridge. We loved the catch and release fishing pond and Mile was gracious enough to give our boys minnows to use. We hiked the trails on the property to the mountain overlook and watched the deer next to our porch every night. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Wonderful stay!

Lovely setting away from everything, but close enough that we could easily visit the New River Gorge and other local places. Really enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the wild turkeys and deer, fishing in the pond, and hiking up into the woods. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay! The property is uniquely remote and peaceful. Lots to do nearby. Mike and Deanna were very friendly and helpful.

Fall getaway

Heard many great things about New River Gorge area we just had to see for ourselves. Great place and location to come home to after visiting all the amazing sites. Would definitely come and stay here again

Great Long Weekend in New River Gorge Area

The property was great for our group of 4. Was a relaxation place to stay after a exploring the gorge area during the day. Would stay here again.
