It is located close to the new river gorge bridge and local trails in the area. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

This was the perfect place for a wonderful weekend stay ... especially for Bridge Day! It's close to restaurants and shops, as well as the New River Gorge National Park. My host was wonderful about communicating and very understanding about my need for a late check in! I highly recommend Emerald Cottage if you need a lovely place to stay when you visit Southern WV. It has everything you need!

Very cute and comfortable house. Two bedroom with a full size kitchen. We were only 6 minutes from Adventures on the Gorge and 4 minutes from the Bridge Walk.

Such a charming place in a great location! The home was cozy, welcoming, and clearly very thoughtfully put together. What really stood out were all of the small details throughout the home that made our stay so easy and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need seemed to be right where we needed it, and you could tell the hosts had really thought about the guest experience. Those little touches made such a difference and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a perfect stay at this cute cottage that could not have been more conveniently located. Less than 5 min to Canyon Rim VC @ New River Gorge NP, hiking and rafting and so close to lots of yummy restaurants in Fayetteville. It was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Checking and check out was a breeze. Wish we had more time, and can definitely say we will be back!

All picture accurately depict the house. The host was very helpful. You can access hiking trails right from the house. Some good restaurants are within a short walk from the house. Oh...and spotless!
