I loved everything about the property! My dog came with me and loved walking the property and exploring the area! We had Elk walking right through the property which made our stay in the mountains even more magical! The ground keepers/property managers were amazing and often checking in to make sure my stay was comfortable whenever we ran into them! An amazing stay and I can not wait to go back again!

The property was beautiful, the house was perfect, location was perfect. The grounds keeper was so kind. We felt safe and watched over just like being at home with mom and dad. 10/10 we will stay again!

Very clean, excellently supplied, exactly what like property description. Definitely will stay there again. Convenient to golf courses, and restaurants in both Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Highly recommend this historical, but we'll appointed cabin.

Our 2nd visit to the same cabin. It is peaceful, simple, and down home good!! The babbling stream out back is the real star, as you sit there and feel all the cares of this earth just drift away!!

Ronnie greeted us first thing and made us feel welcomed, he was a great host and very accommodating. The cabin was clean and exactly what we wanted. 10/10 we would stay again.

Beautiful primitive cabin set right on the water but right off the main road thru Maggie Valley! The property manager met up as soon as we got there to make sure we received the lock code and let us know where he would be if we had any questions. The kitchen is not stocked very well to be able to cook but I made due with the provided pot and pan and it just made the experience feel more authentic and primitive lol So wonderful to be able to have the screen door to hear the creek sounds inside while on the couch and enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front and back porches. So peaceful and relaxing!Have already recommended to others and will most likely visit again ourselves!

We love staying here!!It is so cozy warm and inviting. This is our first time in the winter and love it !! The fireplace was an absolute xtra bonus we relax and enjoyed ourselves immensely Ronnie and Mary are always so nice and helpful they are an asset to the stay We look forward to coming again

This cabin was so comfortable and clean, the wood burning fireplace was a welcome addition with the cool temperatures. The host was there the minute we drove in to welcome us and to let us know that they lived on the premises if we needed anything at all. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!!

Cabin was nice and cozy when we arrived. Caretaker had turned the heat on before our arrival. Every room was clean and inviting. Will definitely be back!
