The lake house had a great view! We enjoyed the hot tub and fishing off the dock. Note for the fisherman new to Toledo Bend: the stumps can get a lure or two!

Overall the accommodations were good. The only negative was low water pressure in 1st bathroom and not being able to use washer & dryer. Also on the dock the ants we’re terrible ( it looks like there was a rotten piece of wood)

Thank you for your review, Carol. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall. We apologize for the temporary low water pressure during your visit. As noted in our listing, the washer and dryer are not available for guest use. They were removed from the amenities after the appliances reached the end of their service life and replacement parts were no longer available. Regarding the ants on the dock, we’re located directly on the lake in a natural outdoor environment, so insects can occasionally be present. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

We had such a great stay at this cabin! The place was super cozy and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite parts was the pier — we loved spending time out there fishing and enjoying the peaceful water views. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.Everything about the cabin was comfortable and welcoming, and it made for a really enjoyable getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with great fishing and a beautiful pier!

House was clean, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, starting with the hot tub that was preheated when we arrived to the great accommodations inside. Wonderful place to stay and definitely will recommend it to friends and family.

The hot tub was not hot enough and had trouble maintaining temperature but everything else was amazing

I wish you would have messaged us during your stay. With temperatures dipping to 28 degrees, the water will lose heat much faster if the cover is left off. We actually have a heat absorber built into the top of the cover specifically to maintain the temperature in this weather. Thank you for choosing our home on South Toledo Bend

The Most Amazing VRBO to date
