It’s summer! Mountain wildflowers, hiking, biking and Telluride festivals! All within easy reach. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Situated on 3 acres in the upper Dolores river valley you are 10 minutes from the town of Dolores and 55 miles from Telluride. Available from mid May through the 3rd week in October. This is in a peaceful location with comfortable accommodations that can be your base from which you can enjoy and explore one of the most beautiful parts of the world. The owners live on the property to help accommodate your needs.
I’m sorry but we can’t allow pets on the property due to our own animals. We live in the country and there are wild animals around at times including foxes, skunks, deer, elk, raccoons, moose and bears. There are bees in the next field over that will be flying around between May and the end of October. Please observe warning signs and do not disturb the bees.

We really enjoyed our time here in Delores and the property was exactly what we were looking for, Quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Our hosts were awesome and took very good care of us. From teaching us how to take care of and use the camper facilities to offering good suggestions on things to do. I'd love to stay here again in the future if we have the chance to come back to the area,

Clean & Comfy!

Very nice, cozy RV in a beautiful scenic area. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot! This is a perfect get away spot for one or two people. Has a custom deck with a great little sitting area also. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jim & Lisa!

Mountain air and a modern RV

This was a lovely stay in the foothills of the Colorado San Juan mountains. We drove down from central CO to watch the eclipse, and along the way we passed some of the most majestic scenery in the United States, and close to Telluride and Cortez, CO. This VRBO unit is a modern RV. It's compact, but it offers all the conveniences of a studio apartment. It sits on a peaceful valley property next to the Dolores River. Hosts Jim and Lisa were attentive and friendly. We would stay here again the next time we're in the area.

We were scheduled to stay 7 days, she only had 2 towels for the whole time in camper. We had to ask for more and she brought out two more. She made a statement because we hung them out on line and it started raining. She acted like she didn’t like us using our small grill because of smoke. Fire pit was at her house and not as described on line. She had two huge dogs that barked and neighbor had two German shepherds that would likely attack if they could have gotten to us through the fence. No access to creek. Property is not maintained at all. It was very false leading. We left on Thursday instead of Saturday without a refund because we didn’t think she would refund us. Will not stay there again or recommend.

First we need to say we are very sorry these guests clearly didn’t enjoy their stay. We immediately fulfilled on their requests with pleasure and there was no indication they were unhappy while they were here. We strive and enjoy doing anything we can so our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. This is clear by reading other reviews on this and other platforms. The following is for the purpose of clarifying some points brought up that we don’t want future guests to be confused about. It was a courtesy to take their towels off the clothesline during the rainstorm and dry them in our dryer. We did send a message to let them know we had done that for them. There is no mention anywhere in the description or amenities about a fire pit. During summer we are under fire restrictions so open fires and smoking are not permitted. Lisa did go to see where the smoke was coming from outside the motor home and saw Greg was cooking on his small grill on the deck which was totally fine. Nothing was said about that not being ok. Yes we have two chocolate labs who are always restrained when guests are on the property. They are totally friendly and most of our guests love to visit with them. If they happen to be out on their tethers when a guest returns they will bark to say hi. Our neighbors dogs are totally friendly and couldn’t get over the fence if they tried. We are not on the river, this is clear in the listing. It is a natural country property, not Augusta National.
