I loved this little suite! In the country, deer nearby, a nice deck, and everything I needed. I did not meet the host personally but we emailed several times and she was very available. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The views are ranch terrific of the Ute Mountain and the mesas. the town of Delores and North on hwy 145 are beautiful and fun. Cortez has good places to eat.

OMG.. This apartment is amazing! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the deer were an added bonus each morning. We hope to return again soon.

Mesa Verde Home Base

We stayed two nights when we came to visit Mesa Verde National Park. This property was convenient to the park and shopping/dining in Cortez while being in a very quiet and pretty setting in the country. This had all the amenities we needed and worked out perfectly.

It was so peaceful there, the view was amazing. The hosts and the other guest were very friendly. I would definitely recomend it. We loved it!

Weekend getaway

Property is equipped to allow you a great night sleep. Quite farmland to view with no city noise. Wake up with coffee and very light meal preparation.

I’m not even sure where to begin. We booked our trip for July back in December. Paid in full, in December. Received a confirmation message from the host after booking. Then crickets. Arrived at the room just after check in time started, but still had not received any check in information or codes to enter. So we called the host, she gave us the code to get in, said she would send us a message with all of the information one more time. She sent me a follow up text with the wrong name, so I called back to make sure she had the right people down and there weren’t any issues. Turns out they double booked the room. Even though we booked earlier than the other guests, they were unwilling to honor our booking. Janelle seemed somewhat understanding, however, her husband was rude on the phone, was unwilling to reason with us, and did not care that we weren’t going to have somewhere to stay for the night. So they ended up cancelling our reservation and left us scrambling to find alternate housing. Thankfully they were able to refund our money, that was the only good experience we had out of this whole mess. I’m sure that our stay would have been just fine otherwise, but I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

good home base for Mesa Verde

Cute little suite. Full kitchen. One small snag, the front door was deadbolt locked when we arrived (unable to enter via keyless entry) and the owners had to come let us in. Response was prompt, they were there in 10 minutes. The place served our needs. No livingroom area but when its just where you're sleeping between adventures, that works out fine.

Very quiet, peaceful and gorgeous views of the area and some wildlife. The commode is seriously the only downfall - when flushed it almost seems like it'll overflow then it will flush. And it is TINY and lower to the ground than what you'd expect. No TV but really didn't miss it.

Pleasant

It was a great place to stay. The walls are a little thin and you can hear some of the other guests that are also checked in at the same time. Other than that it was very nice.
