Palm N Cactus BNB has been completely renovated in a FUN and UNIQUE South-West style theme by a professional 5-Star designer. This trendy home comes with all new mattresses, beds, bedding, linens and furniture purchased in August 2022. You can expect a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need. For those coffee enthusiasts - wake up and start the day right by visiting the beautiful coffee bar which has a Keurig, a standard drip coffee machine, and Coffee Press. Every bedroom has a Smart TV and ceiling fans. No need to pack shower essentials. We provide shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Relax in the oasis backyard by the pool or bask in the sun on one of the lounge chairs next to our hand painted Arizona wall mural. The back yard comes with a new dining table, as well as a comfy cushioned seating area - both shaded under the patio roof within view of the outdoor Smart TV which is placed perfectly to catch the big game.

Camera on premises (outside only) overlooking the driveway, and overlooking the side gate to the house.
We supply a grill and a propane tank but we cannot guarantee the tank will be full. Guests are responsible for refilling the tank as needed and for cleaning the grill. 100$ charge will be charged if the grill is left dirty.
Pool cleaning is on Tuesdays.

Our beautiful home is nestled between several golf courses including Arizona Golf Resort & Event Center, Fountain of the Sun Country Club, and Superstition Springs Golf Club. We are also just a few miles north of the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport. For all our hiking and kayaking enthusiasts, we are about 30 mins west of Superstition Mountains and Saguaro Lake Park. Enjoy hiking bird watching and even catch a glimpse of our many wild horses! Tube down the ever so fresh Salt River or wade along the shore. If you have a little bit of a treasure hunter in you, scan the shores and metal detect around the Salt River as well. Don't forget to check out Goldfield Ghost town a famous mining town just east of us near the Lost Dutchman. On weekends they have live reenactments! Do you love antiquing? There are many well stocked antique stores nearby! Antiquing is one of our favorite hobbies as I'm sure it shows throughout our home! If you need any other ideas for things to do while visiting, please don't hesitate to ask!

Nice place

Easy to find and park. Convenient to places in Mesa, Gilbert and Scottsdale. Good area for morning walks. Enjoyed the puzzles and games, use of kitchen and washer/dryer. Pool was too cold to use yet, but that was expected.

Safe, Comfortable and Relaxing Getaway

Lovely home with all the luxuries of a home away from home. Palm and Cactus rental is complete with comfortable beds, television options in many locations, open kitchen, dining and living room with a beautiful backyard to view or enjoy. The yard is well kept and the humming birds enjoy visiting the floral bushes. The patio and pool is clean and roomy. This home is designed and well equipped for families with children visiting the area. This location is near grocery stores and places to eat. We were here visiting family in the area and celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday.

Family trip

The house was perfect for our visit to Mesa where my parents live. The open living space and well-stocked kitchen were great for hosting family dinners. The back yard was a great place to hang out and drink coffee in the morning. Overall the house is super cute and clean. We'll go back!

A joy-filled week-end

I recently rented this unit for a visit for my grandson and his family - 2 adults and children aged 12, 10 and 4. It was the gathering place for the entire family while they were in town. I cannot express how wonderful this unit was and the hosts amazing. Each concern was addressed within minutes and with courtesy and a solution. The home was fantastic. The children and the adults loved their rooms and, of course, the pool. My great-grands who were visiting and the ones living in Mesa had never met, but they got along like a house on fire. This house was so well-stocked and amenable for cooking and gathering. I cannot begin to express the pleasure of all us as we gathered to cook, play games and visit. Mel and Jason are amazing hosts and their home is a welcoming and fun home where you can thoroughly relax and enjoy your visit.

An Oasis

We loved staying here. The house was fantastic and highly accessible for my two vision impaired daughters. Great decor, clean and had everything we needed (including high performance AC to beat the 110 degree heat). The backyard was phenomenal. Awesome BBQ and lots of comfortable seating. The pool was perfect and really refreshing. Lots if shopping close by. Mel and Jason were so easy to work with and very quick response. If we return to Mesa we will stay at this oasis!

Our Stay in Mesa

Our family stayed at this property for a little over 3 weeks this past February and March 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The property was beautiful, had a well-stocked kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, beautiful pool, an eating and sitting area with a TV outside. The home is beautifully decorated and is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood in Mesa. The hosts were always available with any questions we had. We highly recommend this VRBO home!

Perfect for a small group

I stayed here for a long weekend with my adult daughters, we were in town for a bridal shower. The house is convenient to many different businesses (we walked to Starbucks) while still being in a residential neighborhood. There was a good amount of space, the house and pool were immaculate, the sheets were soft and the beds were comfy. Ample basic supplies were provided, we stayed for 3 days and didn’t need to buy anything. The owners were responsive and all communication was clear. I’d 100% stay here again!

Great place.

Everything was great. well stocked kitchen. Location was good. Nice neighborhood. Smallest bathroom by kitchen could use a better toilet paper holder as the paper kept falling off. Everything was well stocked and we appreciate that. An amazing home. We will definitely stay there again.

What Can I Say

This beautiful home was exactly as pictured. We were a family of 6 with 4 kids so for us, making sure we had ample room was a must, this home fit the bill. The host was extremely responsive making sure we were not in need of anything. Home was fully stocked and needed nothing. Location was good and within striking distance from the activities we were doing. We were sad to leave but like with all vacations, they all must come to an end. Thanks for everything Mel and Jason.

Amazing Short Weekend Trip

Great property!

We stayed at this property due to its location to where our son’s baseball team was staying. It was in a great location - close to the hotel and many shops. Communication with the property manager throughout our stay was excellent. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked! Having a pool and place to relax in the backyard was a bonus! We stayed with another family at the property. Their flight was cancelled due to weather back home and the property manager was VERY quick to respond during the early morning hours to confirm that they could stay another night while they figured out their plans. So thankful!! One thing that might be helpful for others to know are the doors on the bathrooms and the front bedroom (with twin beds) are not solid wood doors. They have slats on the top half of the doors. You can’t see in but you can hear through the doors. Our teens in that room could hear everything when we were in the living room or kitchen.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!!

Spent three nights at this home with my husband, three children (10, 9, 4) and my in-laws. This home was gorgeous! The dinning/living room with the kitchen was a great place to hang out, play cards and have breakfast. The home was well stocked with dishes, soaps, toilet paper, and even small items we have had to bring ourselves in the past like garbage bags, paper towels, salt and pepper and aluminum foil. There is a park about a block away that we walked to one morning and Sloan Park is only a 12-15min drive. I have no complaints at all except that we weren’t able to extend our stay because we had to get back to work! We will look to stay again as we hope to hit spring training annually! Mel and Jason were very helpful and responsive.

Comfortable stay and great location

We came to Phoenix to visit with my sister who was in the hospital and not well. We were able to see family that came to see her too and this house was perfect to visit with each other. They loved the house and my wife felt like she was at home. The house was located 5 minutes from the hospital and close to restaurants and stores. They took a lot of pictures of the house because they loved there decor and the overall set-up.

Family Trip

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location. Space was very comfortable and worked perfect for our group of 5. The pool is very nice and we were able to enjoy some time in the sun by the pool. Weather was a little chilly to go in the pool but, it looks very clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was great, we had a couple minor details come up and they were quick to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay at this property in the future.

Nice Home in Quiet Neighborhood

My husband & I visited Mesa for a wedding. The house was perfect for us. The house is an older home but it has been renovated nicely. The neighborhood was very quiet. Mel & Jason responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend this house. Thanks Mel & Jason!

Wonderful stay in Mesa!

We had a wonderful stay in Mesa. Hosts Mel and Jason were quick to respond during the booking and throughout our stay. We had a few questions come up and within minutes, they had messaged me back. The home is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you will need! We enjoyed the two outdoor areas - one with a dining table and a separate area with comfy chairs where we watched Monday Night Football! They have thought of everything. The outdoor TV is on mount that allows it move between the two sitting areas. The pool was clean and has a nice sitting area. Neighborhood was quite and seemed very safe. I took walks every morning down to the park. The location was great - within a few minutes to all the shopping you need (Walmart, Target, Albertson's, etc....). I highly recommend this VRBO and will stay there again and any property owned/managed by Mel and Jason!
