Enjoy all the activities Lake George area offers while enjoying the peaceful hidden gem Trout Lake. You are only 2 miles from the upscale village of Bolton Landing on Lake George. Use of canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, SUP's, swimming raft, 14' row boat. Free WIFI and smart TV's in all rooms, Gas Grill.


Quiet & Private: This is a Guesthouse located on our lovely property on Trout Lake where we have a home. You have your own private sandy beach with Adirondack chairs, lounges, and picnic table shared by no one else. The water is crystal clear. Trout Lake is a 50hp max lake with no jet ski's allowed. Firewood as available for beach bonfires.

The Guesthouse sits about 150' back from the beach. There is a filtered view of the lake from the deck and guesthouse. A private trail leads you down to the beach.

A great stay! Very peaceful lakeside location with easy access to Lake George if desired. Host communication was quick and the access to the water crafts made for a lot of fun. Would stay again.

Great place to stay. Everything you need to enjoy the place is included... tandem kayak, canoe, paddle boat, you name it.Trout lake is a gem and not to be missed.

Very nice guesthouse with short walk to lake on property. Lake view from deck. Owners are very nice. Plenty of room between coach and kitchen for two large dog crates. Short drive to Lake George. We loved our stay.

Well stocked cabin that was clean and had excellent amenities. Off the “beaten path”, but close to Lake George and all that it has to offer! Our host was immediately available for any questions or concerns - definitely a plus! Very happy with our choice!

Wonderful way for our family to experience Adirondack lake life. The cabin was cozy for our family of 4 (kids 15 & 12) and was stocked with everything we needed. The short path to the lake & expansive sandy beach meant we spent most waking hours by the water. Really quick drive into Bolton Landing for groceries & dining options. Good fishing as well!

Peaceful and quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Darling cabin with a beautiful lake-partial view from deck. kayaks available-we had a blast going around the lake. Private small beach to ourselves. All we needed to bring was food.

We asked guest why they dropped a star for this review and they responded that a breaker had popped in the elec box during their stay. We reset immediately for them and all was good. Thank you Ray & Claire

Cozy cottage just right for two couples or small family. One queen and one full bed. Very clean. Lovely beach area with many water toys. Nice deck with partial view of lake. Hosts are attentive and friendly.

Amazing getaway

The place is little secluded from restaurants and activities but still a great quiet getaway. Lots of amenities that have been added to better the place like the kayaks and paddle boards.

nice place

Although it is set back behind the main (owner) house there is still a good view of the lake. The house is cozy but well maintained. Plenty of kayaks etc. and chairs down at the beach. We had a great time there. Also it is very close to Boltons Landing and the Algonquin Restaurant.....

Better than I expected

This is truly a special place to stay. Proximity to the lake is perfect. The guest house is private yet easily accessible. This is a great place for either 1 or 2 couples who love the lake life. It's super convenient to get into Bolton and Lake George, and yet you feeling like you're in your own private oasis.

Cutest cabin in the Woods

The cabin was clean and cozy, located on very beautiful lake. The weather did not cooperate alas we were unable to enjoy the water, five min from Bolton Landing and nestled among many hiking trails. We will come back and try again for better weather.Recommend hightly!

Lake Getaway

We enjoyed our stay just off the beaten path, but close to all Lake George has to offer. Use of lake beach, firepit and canoe was a highlight - very relaxing. Friendly host and dogs were nice to have close by but otherwise we had plenty of quiet and privacy. Cabin has everything including an AC for occasional humid nights. Nearby Bolton Landing more upscale but charming. Thanks for a good experience.
