Enjoy a variety of fishing options :surf, canal, bay, and Gulf fishing at your disposal. If your looking for a "feet in the sand" experience, the beach is access is located in the neighborhood. The home offers a comfortable stay with many amenities some of which include a fish cleaning station, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower.

Birthday Fishing Trip

The location is wonderful for enjoying the outdoors, fishing and crabbing. Some updating and repairs on the house are needed. We loved having a place to clean fish on the premises. We are already planning to return.

3-day Canal Home Rental

This rental property was great-expected some things wouldn't be tops-but all in home was working and top notch. Very clean-AC worked great. Fan full blast. Washer Dryer was great Suprise. Tying up boat so handy. Great experience.

Relaxing Visit to San Luis Pass

We loved our stay at Anchors Away! The house was just as described in the listing. The hosts were very efficient and helpful. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. All of the property members that we met were helpful and interesting to talk to. We definitely recommend this property.

Quick getaway

Hubby & I needed some RR & he needed to get this kayak back in the water. Came home with some fish so it was a great stay. Cute & quiet place.

Excellent again : )

2nd time staying at this property. Great experience both times. I come to this area to kayak fish and this house provides everything I need. Excellent location, fish cleaning station, access to boat ramp, great local fishing, and very comfortable beds.

Honeymoon

The property, neighborhood, and area were great! Fishing in the canal was a good time. The neighbors were friendly and invited us to use their slip and night fishing light. There was one inconsistency with the listed amenities that Holly offered an acceptable solution to without me even having to ask! Would stay here again!

yearly fishing trip

The house was awesome. Being able to dock the boat right behind the house was a game changer. Will never stay anywhere else when fishing in the San Luis Pass.

Perfect spot for fishing vacation

The house was amazing, and the neighbors were exceptionally friendly. The private dock was one of the best features, we were able to walk out the back door to throw a net out for our fishing bait to start the day every morning and catch all the mullet we needed. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would go back to this property again next year if we could. Unfortunately we will be bringing far more people than this place can support because we had such a great time this year. We absolutely recommend this one.

Great home and location! Excellent for fishing!

Wonderful location and house! The whole underneath patio area was awesome! Fish right off the canal at the house or go across the street to the neighborhood dock. We brought our skiff and the launch was super close. Was able to tie up right outside the house! Caught several redfish. The host is always responsive and great to stay with! Will be back to this one for sure!

Sister’s unplanned getaway

We had a wonderful stay. My sister and I decided last minute to head to the coast. She has 2 dogs that aren’t able to be left alone. Anchors Away was perfect for the 4 of us, although we had enough room for many more. (People😜) This house is definitely perfect for the whole family as well. The host was very attentive and helpful. We are already trying to squeeze another trip in this summer. Will be back. Next time we will bring fishing gear!

Get away

House was great! Only thing wrong on my visit was the outdoor fishing lights did not work. Had one working the first few hours of the first night then it went out so we had no lights in the water to fish under. Other than that the house was great for our family. Host was great answered all questions fast.

Anchors Away

Anchors Away was a great place for a quite qet away. The welcoming package and endless supply of bathroom utilities was awesome. Even though Saturday night a storm came thru, and it was a little scary having to secure all the patio furniture from blowing away...We'd definitely do it all over again!

Amazing Place to Stay!

This place was the perfect get away home! Everything was exactly like the description and it was the perfect location. We also loved that we were able to bring out dog with us. The touches of travel sized tooth paste, sunscreen, aloe vera etc. was such a nice touch! It was such a great place and we can't wait to go back!

Spring Break Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here for a Spring Break getaway. The house is in a great location and is stocked very well. My boys enjoyed fishing in the canal and across the street at the San Luis County Park. The pictures don't do it justice. The hostess was easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent again if back in the area. Thanks for providing a great place to stay!
