Get ready to escape from the Hustle and Bustle of life to unwind and enjoy simple days of fun in the sun as a family beach vacation or a bay/gulf fishing trip. This canal waterfront is home to the perfect blend of both, BEACH and BAY, with immediate access to bayside fishing & crabbing here in Treasure Island Community! Island Tyme is just a 2-3 minutes stroll away from the Treasure Island pedestrian beach access point or a leisurely drive to Surfside-Galveston activities; Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Rainforest Cafe and Pleasure Pier,.
Bring your boat and/or jet skis and store them in the covered boat slip at the property. Community boat ramp is available for guests' use located at the front of Fathom Dr., as is the lighted community Fishing pier that is 100 yards from our property. Fishing and crabbing is well known in the adjacent Christmas Bay.
No boat, no worries, as you can fish directly from the dock, in the back of the house for the opportunity to catch speckled trout, flounder, redfish or do some crabbing from the canal that feeds into Cold Pass. There’s a green LED flood light for epic night fishing.

San Luis Pass and Treasure Island is well known for fishing and crabbing with beautiful sunset and sunrise. Easy access to the Gulf and bay water!

This place will not disappoint!!!

We had so much fun at Island Tyme. You will be pleased booking this rental. The home is well stocked and very clean. We had no issues and the one issue we had was fixed by direction of Nancy. We will definitely be staying here on future trip as it has easy access to sea.and

Outstanding!!!

First of all the owner's are so pleasant and informative. Its not one time that they didn't respond back to us about vacation questions and any other questions. Nancy was so kind, very understanding of my medical issues. I just want to tell everyone please rent this home, its beautiful, comfortable and its decorated very nice. Fishing and crabbing we just has a blast!! Thank you so much for allowing us to borrow you home. We will be back very soon. 😊😊

Second Stay Even Better!

This is a lovely home close to several beach access options! Easy to come and go and a 25 minute drive to the main attractions in Galveston. We made a lot of memories and slept well every night! This is the perfect house for just relaxing!! We’ll be back next summer!

Relaxing and fishing.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place to relax and fish the whole stay! If you are lookin to fish and not hit the beach this place is perfect.The house was so clean and even had a few things stocked in the pantry and fridge. Would love to stay again and would recommend this place to others!

Wonderful stay at Island Tyme

We enjoyed staying at Island Tyme very much. Any questions we had, Nancy was there to address them. We had some difficulties with setting the A/C thermostat, but Nancy answered very quickly and had us knowing what to do in no time. We would definitely stay here again!! Nice clean house and being on a canal was a plus.

Great house and location

Excellent stay, thank you! Very easy check in. Home was very clean, all of the essentials were provided and in good condition. The location was amazing - views of water all around, loved the patio and shaded area underneath. Great spot for relaxing, fishing and enjoying quality family time. Hope to be back!

Perfect fishing retreat

Perfect Beach Proximity

This cute house is perfect for day trips to the beach and within a good proximity to go back and forth several times a day for breaks. Nice open floor plan to visit with family and plenty of amenities to keep you entertained. Thanks for the wonderful stay- we'll definitely be back.

Peace and Quiet, beautiful home!!!!

We have stayed in Galveston a few times, and our last experience was horrible (not this properly). We found this property for summer 2022 and crossed our fingers and hope we would not have the same experience we had in the past with a different property. FANTASTIC!!!! Our family of 5 had THE BEST TIME!! Everything was just as described, the owner responded super quick to any and every question or email or comment that we had. We were able to fish right from the house, and then drive a very short distance and be on the beach (the beaches were NOT crowded and super were clean). The house was immaculate, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. On about the second night we stayed, we were already looking at future dates at the same property. :) Heads up - you are about 30 miles from a really good grocery store, and about 15 miles from the nearest gas station (or pay the toll to cross over San Luis Pass, both ways). The owner definitely lets you know this ahead of time, and advises you to come prepared. But, we had accidentally left a bag of food at home and making a single trip to H-E-B was no big deal. There are not any restaurants nearby either. But that’s what you get with staying in this area. It is meant to get away from the touristy island experience. And that’s what we were looking for – peace and quiet, fishing, beaches, and not too many people. You don’t need restaurants with their incredibly stocked kitchen and propane grill on the back. They even provided us with an extra propane tank just in case. You will not be disappointed with your experience at this property, with the property owners, or the neighborhood/location!

Relaxing

The house is beautiful and comfortable. We love to fish, but didn’t have much luck in the canal (the fish are there, we could see them), there was also an abundance of bait fish in the water… we still enjoyed trying. It was a great stay and we definitely recommend it.

Wonderful Experience!

We had an amazing stay! The amenities were numerous-from the welcome basket to the extra beach chairs and toys. The owner was available and responsive every time I reached out for a question . The house was immaculate and so comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Just right for our family, quiet and relaxed location

This was a great relaxed family vacation home. All the amenities were nice, the fish we caught were mainly catfish, toad fish, rock crabs, blue crabs, and sea snails. Thanks for the having things we needed in the pantry and board games.

Great weekend rental

Home was very comfortable and well appointed with just about anything you could want to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again. Only reason not to give 5 stars is the A/C had a hard time keeping up so we would sweat a little while sleeping. Took 3 days to get the temp below 75 but other than that it was a wonderful place to stay.
