This home is not being cared for and cleaned properly. The pictures are outdated because the wear on this home is not pictured. Upon arrival there were hundreds of ants on the main entry going up to the front door and the yard has been taken over with weeds. I reached out to the host regarding the ants and we did not get a reply until the next day, he told us pest control would take care of them the following day, but we never saw them come to the house. We bought ant bait at the grocery store and took care of them ourselves. Entry to the home is not through the front door where you park. It is through an unprotected gate on the side of the home off of a heavily trafficked street. The gate leads to the back door for entry. Cleaning- the house was full of dust and there were dead bugs and mouse droppings later found in closets. There is a lot of mold in showers and sinks the towels are tattered and have holes, leftover party supplies taped to the ceilings from previous guests the rugs are so dirty and again there was so much dust. Families! Not for you. The noise and light off of the side street is awful, and the kids bunk room is closest to that side street. Aside from uncleanliness, the lack of communication with the host was disappointing. I addressed all of these concerns listed above and he did not reply to me. The experience was not unbearable, we unfortunately had to make it work for our quick trip but for what it cost to stay here, it was definitely not worth it.

Beautiful home with original hard wood floors. Great location, large fully stocked kitchen and roomy living room. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub which was at a perfect 104 degrees. Main St was only a 1/2 mile walk away. Good communication with the owner and he responded quickly before and during our stay. Perfect for families of bachelorette parties.

House was fine. Only thing...while trying to enjoy the jacuzzi, we saw several rats, so we ended up having to go inside.

Hi Ronnie- I apologize for your experience. I wish you would have communicated the issue when it happened so we could have had pest control come out. We have installed bait boxes around the perimeter of the home to fix the issue. Thanks Paul
