This charming cottage, just blocks from Main Street, is the perfect retreat for your Fredericksburg getaway. Designed for relaxation and connection, it features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area ideal for gathering with family or friends. A cozy second living space off the Primary suite offers a peaceful escape.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa, Heritage Haus comfortably sleeps up to 6+ guests. Unwind in the Primary suite with its soaker tub or enjoy the fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals. Outside, a serene backyard awaits, complete with a deck, fire pit, and gas grill. The property has a good location but the bathrooms where not good enough, the hot water was compromised, the grill is not new, the outdoor furniture could have outdoor pillows, and the overall cleanliness of the property is just ok, not very clean.

Girls getaway

My 4 friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. There was plenty of space for all of us to get ready together. It was a 10 minute walk to the Main Street shops. We would stay again!

Labor Day Weekend 2024

Stayed here with our niece and family - 4 adults, an 11-year-old, and a 3-year-old and everyone had a great time! Living room accommodated all of us, yard was beautiful, and the kitchen was well equipped (the adults especially appreciated the Keurig and coffee pods!). Communication with owners was excellent as well. Highly recommend this property!

Mother’s Day

This was a wonderful house for our Mother’s Day friends getaway. The property was lovely! We appreciated the coffee and tea options and enjoyed sitting on the back porch under the tree with our coffee. The bedrooms were so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Peaceful Stay

We stayed here for a weekend with our 3 young children and it was wonderful! Comfortable beds, very clean, well stocked, and a great back yard. The kids loved running around outside. It was very cute!

Wonderful, spacious house

What a super place! Nicely decorated and renovated. House is very spacious with 3 large bedrooms that are spaced nicely apart. The master bedroom is set back off the kitchen on opposite side of the house from the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen and family room area is all one big space-love that we could all hang out together! Bath towels were very plush and bed linens great quality. Kitchen had limited pots/pans but enough for our needs. Plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. The yard was gigantic! Very nice outdoor space with a deck and table/chairs, fire pit and open grass area. House sits on a corner lot. Street was super quiet and little traffic. Driveway is large and wide. It is over a mile walk to the heart of downtown but certainly doable. There are no sidewalks but every street in Fredericksburg is extremely crazily wide. We enjoyed our long weekend and this house was perfect for us. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

A great place to stay

This corner-lot home in a beautiful residential neighborhood was perfect for our stay. It's two blocks off Main and a walkable distance to the shops/restaurants. The neighborhood itself is very walkable with many interesting homes. No traffic. The home itself has been completely remodeled. Very tasteful and functional. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Heritage Haus is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Fredericksburg. It’s in a nice neighborhood and the home is so pretty. We were very comfortable there. Very clean and had everything we needed. The beds and linens are really comfortable. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Friends Getaway

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway to Fredricksburg!

The house was charming and very clean. We had everything that we needed, and it was a great place to stay for three couples just needing a little getaway. We would not hesitate to re-book this house for our next trip to Texas Wine Country and some great German food! Chris B.
