Lakefront Mountain Condo

Welcome to our condo, our home away from home. Our space has recently been lovingly updated. This condo has been in our family since the building was built in 1974. We hope our space provide the backdrop for lifelong memories of your trip!

The kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities to enjoy a home cooked meal. We're also walking distance to great dining options in downtown Dillon.

The master bedroom with queen bed offers breathtaking views of the mountains. The back bedroom features two bunk beds.

The building features a hot tub and sauna - perfect after a long day of on the slopes or trails.

Dillon is centrally located between the best ski resorts of Summit County; it's 15 minutes to Keystone and an hour to Vail offering you the opportunity to explore the whole area.

The building entrance is locked for your safety. Please remember the combination and register your car at the little station next to the elevator.

Everything you might need is here

Most of the property was very, very nice with good views and updates plus it's apparent the owners use the property because everything you might need for a comfortable stay is there. the second bedroom leads a little to be desired with no ventilation or windows and a unique bath that appears to have been an afterthought. Still, we very much enjoyed staying at their place... The deck was very nice and enjoyed and had nice use of the lake. We'd stay there again and just warn anybody that was taking that second bedroom that they better not be claustrophobic. on the other hand for folks that want to sleep with absolutely no light, it would be perfect.

Great Family Ski Trip

The Lakefront Mountain Condo worked great for my family of four adults (my kids are 19 & 23) as a comfortable basecamp while enjoying Vail, Breck, and Beaver Creek skiing. The condo is very well stocked with everything we needed to make homecooked meals at night as well as a comfortable living room for relaxing as a family after skiing all day. The beds are comfortable and the view is fantastic. The location couldn't any better if you want to visit a variety ski resorts (A-Basin, Keystone, Copper, Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek), to be close to the convinces of town (Dillion, Frisco, Silverthorne), and to get away from the nonsense that comes with staying at a resort. In short, my family will definitely be looking to book this condo the next time we ski this area.

Lake Dillon condo

We enjoyed the location of the condo, close to our favorite ski resorts. The unit was clean, well kept, and very functional for our family. The view of Lake Dillon was far better than the pictures on the site. Truly one of the best surprises of our stay.

The property was as expected , in good condition with plenty of household items available for use. Unfortunately the door code provided was only for the lock box to the condo and not the front door of the building, which is kept locked all the time.. we were lucky enough to meet another resident who was kind enough to let us in so we could access the condi

Nice place, but major communication problems.

The place is nice and in a great location. No complaints there and rare to find budget accommodations around this area.But, even though I texted and called several times requesting all the door codes, I was only sent the interior one, not the one to get into the building. This was a major issue because we arrived late (11:15 p.m.) due to traffic so nobody was coming or going from the building. Made repeated calls to owner with no response until the next morning. VRBO customer service tried contacting owner as well with no luck. Unacceptable.Not knowing what to do, we waited for close to an hour until someone finally came out to warm up their car and then we had to awkwardly explain the whole situation as they were hesitant to let strangers into the building. Caused a lot of unnecessary stress and made the early ski day the next day more difficult. Owner was apologetic, but I had to be the one to ask for some sort of compensation. She offered one half of the first night cost (seems odd since she never sent the codes until the next morning, but I agreed to that). That was 18 days ago and still no sign of the refund check.

Great Place

Quick two day trip to go snowboarding. Great property in a great location! Owner is very friendly and very responsive. Definitely recommend and I would come back!

Great location with beautiful view!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Mountain Condo. Location was perfect for walking to the Dillon Amphitheater with the bike trail right outside. Beautiful views of the marina and Lake Dillon!

Great location but

Small, tight bathrooms. GREAT view from balcony. Old, difficult to use and broken shades. Good kitchen. Old, uncomfortable sofas. Dingy sofas. Good bed in master. TV in master did not work. Torn screen door to balcony. Old grill needs replace. Grealolocation on lake.

Excellent place

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was equipped with lots of items for cooking and was very comfortable. We also enjoyed both the hot tub and sauna after long days of skiing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

The place was in a great location for hitting multiple ski resorts. It was clean with plenty of space for a family of 4. I would highly recommend this condo.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Came for the Colorado Pond Hockey Tournament. Nice and comfortable. Only issue I had was that the instructions that were sent to me need to be updated. Main door code was incorrect. Luckily a friend was also staying in the same place and was able to give me the code.

The perfect ski trip base

We’ve stayed in this building before and we kind of know what to expect, and this unit matched our expectations. It was very clean and well-stocked and we felt at home immediately. Beautiful mountain and lake views were amazing to wake up to each morning. Our 14 year old son liked that he had a separate bedroom with his own private bathroom. The only complaint, and I do mean the only complaint, is we were told we would get the code to get inside the building before check in and we did not. (To be fair I received a call from a strange number earlier in the day and ignored the call, not thinking it could be the call with the door code. Oops!)

We are Kenneth and Inge Kirkland. Ken hails from Oklahoma and he wanted to live in Colorado ever since he was a little boy. Inge hails from Chile and never thought about moving to the USA until she met Ken skiing in Portillo!! We have used the condo to ski in Winter and have fun in the Summer with our four kids. Now we are empty nesters and want to share it with you, hoping our guests will enjoy their time in the mountains. We communicate in English-Spanish-German-Portuguese and are also available as knowledgeable mountain guides for a negotiable fee.

The Lodge is a well built place: stressed cement is safer in the mountains than wood! Also, the lobby of the building provides safety from uninvited visitors. The views are spectacular, sports and cultural activities to fill every need are plentiful and close by. Every season in the mountains has its own appeal: Winter attracts snow-sport enthusiasts, Spring brings back greenery and fishermen, in Summer flowers bloom everywhere and the Lake is full of little white sails you can watch lying by the outdoor heated pool and finally: Fall is quiet and saturated with warm sunshine spilling through the golden leaves of the Aspen trees. At each season, there is something worthwhile and unforgettable to do and enjoy.
