Cottage #2 is a fully furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage located in Iron River, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Midwest's wilderness treasure. Bedroom one offers 1 queen bed; bedroom two offers 2 twin beds. The cottage can sleep 5 with a rollaway bed provided. The cottage offers a spacious open-concept kitchen and living room, perfect for quality family time! In the summer, the deck is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Northwood sunsets; in the winter relax by the "Franklin stove" style gas fireplace.

The cottage shares 600' of wooded shoreline with footpaths down to the water. Perfect for swimming and relaxing on those beautiful summer days is a dock and a floating raft. Stanley Lake is a fisherman's paradise! The lake is 1/2 mile wide and 2 1/2 miles long. It is home to trophy musky, large, and smallmouth bass, along with perch. If you have your own boat, there is a boat landing on the lake and we have a 30’ Floe dock to tie up to.

Ski Brule is located just 2 1/2 miles from our lake cottage. Winter activities for everyone: ski, snowboarding, terrain parks, tubing, fat bike trails, cross country trails, snowshoe trails, sleigh rides, kids activities, and more.

Young's Golf Club is nestled on over 3,300 beautiful acres featuring a premier 18-hole Championship Golf Course, rated 4 stars by Golf Digest. Young's hallmark is a must-see, one-of-a-kind, recreational Complex.

Iron County boasts more than 260 miles of extensively groomed and well-marked snowmobile trails, drawing riders from throughout the region and beyond to enjoy scenic journeys that are a trademark of trails here.

You can ride your ATV right from the cottage and find the trails only 4.5 miles away.
