This home is 2 levels with a bedroom and full bath on each. A wrap around deck is perfect for morning coffee , watching wildlife or your favorite evening cocktail. Relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking or riding.

Amazing Views

This place was perfect for our family to unwind and relax. It is close to Mikelson trail and a great central location for all of the activities in the Black Hills. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, And the linens were extra soft. The hostess was amazing to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing

Our stay was amazing! The home had amazing views and everything needed to cook meals and live comfortably! We enjoyed the yard, deck, and seeing lots of wild life! Want to come back to Custer just to stay here again!

South Dakota Trip

Mile High cabin was just perfect- lovely scenery, great wildlife viewing, excellent location and remarkable hosts! You will be amazed! Forgot to say thank you Jodi for the wonderful wine and a precious memory of our trip to South Dakota!

Nice house close to town but not really in town

Wonderful house/cabin nestled in the woodsy area just outside of Custer. Upstairs has the kitchen dining room, living room and a bedroom and a bath. Wonderful views all around. Lower level is a walk out with the TV room and partial kitchen, a bedroom and bath plus a smaller bed nestled under the stairway but open to the TV room Very clean and decorated very nice with local artist (the hostess) paintings. BBQ is a Webber. A very nice gift basket waiting for us upon arrival. Definitely would rent again. Thanks for sharing this location with us

Perfect accommodation for SD vacation

Loved this beautiful property! The cabin was nicely decorated (impressive artwork by the host) and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay plus some extra special touches. The location was perfect for visiting the highlights of the area - Custer State Park, Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and more. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Immaculate Custer Cabin

As soon as you open the door, you smell clean, you see organization & you see comforts of home. Location to the city of Custer & Hill City, Custer State Park & the Black Hills was very convenient. Would stay here again & again.

I was supposed to run in the Lean Horse Ultra, unfortunately my training “derailed”. We chose to keep our booking and visit this property. So glad we did…AMAZING!!!

Ideal setting

From the view inside and the layout inside, coupled with the ease of access to all locations, this cabin is the ideal setting for a family visiting the Black Hills. We could not have asked for a better experience.

PERFECT STAY

I couldn’t have asked for anything more, this place was spectacular. Nothing better than waking up with a warm cup of coffee to the views of Buckhorn Mountain. So close to Wildlife Loop and Needles highway. We will stay again.

Great Location!

This was a fantastic home and location for staying with family and seeing all the sites! We loved the privacy, cleanliness, and space of this property for our family of 6. We also appreciated its proximity to town and to all the parks and sites of South Dakota! It was so easy to go to all the places we wanted to and still make it back to the cabin for a nice grilled out supper and dip in the hot tub. We loved the fire pit as well and all the games provided for the downstairs area. We appreciated the ice maker in the fridges, s'mores supplies, and wrap around deck with plenty of seating. The views were amazing! The property supplied us with everything we needed too! The property owners were so easy and prompt to work with as well. Highly reccommend!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay in south Dakota and this home was perfect for us to come back to after our daily adventures. It has such a beautiful view and plenty of space for all to enjoy being outside. My grandson had a great time exploring the area while we could keep an eye on him from the deck or patio the house. We had everything we needed. Even some extra help with a bike. Much appreciated. Thank you for our stay.

Beautiful Views

We fully enjoyed staying here with our family. The kids had room to run around and explore outside and a deck with a beautiful view of the mountain! It was nice to have a ‘home’ to come back to and unwind after a long day of activities.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our time at this cabin. Close enough to town but also far enough out of town to feel like you’re in the woods. We loved how updated the cabin is. Downstairs for the family of 4 & then myself upstairs. Sitting on the deck in the mornings & evenings was perfectly comfortable. We appreciated the games & snacks left for us.

Family vacation with 3 young kids

This house was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and cozy. There were fun snacks waiting for the kids on the table when we arrived and the lower level had a variety of games for them to play. The artwork located around the house was a beautiful touch and the location was perfect - close to most of the attractions. We definitely did not want to leave but hope to be back again in the future!
