Location was perfect! Space and comfortable accommodations for 5 adults with plenty of bathrooms and privacy. Backyard with hot tub and game room was perfect for us after long days of exploring the area. Thank you so much!

Hill City Heaven

Two adults, 3 children, the house was ideal for our stay. The kids loved the bunk beds with tv in the basement bedroom. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and amenities. Sarah was prompt and very open with communication. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks so much Sarah for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I took three of our grandchildren to visit some of our favorite places in the Black Hills. What a perfect location. Sarah was very prompt and open in her communication. The house was everything we had hoped for and then some. The kids for the most part took up residency in the basement in the evenings after long days of sight-seeing. They were just as thrilled of the house as we were. We were fortunate to have found it. Private parking out back, and an easy walk downtown for dinner. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Thank you, Sarah, for an incredible stay!

What a beautiful home! Hey gorgeous spacious house in downtown Hill City. We walked to shopping and and restaurants every single day. It was like a dream. There was plenty of space for our families in the house is decorated with great taste! Will definitely be back!

We loved it!!

Hill City Haven was the perfect spot for our friends’ trip to explore the Black Hills. The house was amazing! Ideal location, had all the things we needed and plenty of room for 7 of us to hang out or have our own space. Sarah was an excellent host and so easy to communicate with. Highly recommend a visit to South Dakota and a stay at this exceptional home!

Hills City Haven

Remodeled older house. Plenty of comfortably sleeping space with plenty of bathroom space also.. has a big kitchen and big table to gather around for enjoying food, games etc. The kids garage space was wonderful with the games to keep them busy and enough yard space to enjoy having a fire yard games or just to sit around. Very homey n with 2 sitting areas with couches and chairs n never went without inside or out. Wonderful place to stay and they were very accommodating n easy to work with

This home was charming and historic with lots of room for our mixed age extended family of ten! We loved the hot tub, bonfire pit and game room AND being able to walk to coffee, dinner, and ice cream!

Wonderful property in great location. Check-in and Check-out were seamless. Covered parking for two vehicles a nice bonus. Will be back.

Hill City Haven

Great location and town to enjoy the Black Hills from. The home is comfortable, the things that ned to be clean were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our family had a blast here!

Spacious and lovely 1929 home

The house is a 1929 charmwr that has been well decorated. It has tons of space for large group, everything was well stocked, the back yard was wonderful for the dogs and the hot tub was a treat after long motorcycle rides. Very convenient location to shops and restaurants.

Great location! The house is very spacious and well stocked. We really appreciated the extra things like toilet paper and paper towels - there were plenty. The beds were very comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms was a plus. We would stay here again. The house is definitely older and could use a little t&cs in some areas. Overall - great place in a great location.

Hill City Haven

The location of Hill City Haven is conveniently located near stores, restaurants & more. Some are close enough to walk to! The Haven was perfect for my family. We had plenty of room & also enjoyed the hot tub! Great place to stay!

Definitely a haven

We miss the house already. What a great place to decompress after our long road trip. The house is very spacious, charming, clean and well stocked. The location is great too with a short walk into town. The he backyard was so wonderful for the dogs and the hot tub was a real treat. Sarah was a great host. This rental is well worth your consideration, so book it and enjoy the area.

Fantastic location

Hill city haven seems to be an older home with lots of charm! Very well preserved, kept up, and clean - which is what we look for the most! The kitchen was very well equipped and there are 2 sets of washers and dryers which was perfect as we had 2 families staying! We loved being able to stroll downtown to all the shops and restaurants and the best part… the ice cream shop!! The game room and hot tub were a nice bonus and we would definitely recommend Hill City Haven to anyone we know traveling to the Black Hills!!

Great Location and stay

The house has plenty of room for everyone. We were traveling with 3 teens and it worked great. Location allows for a quick walk to restaurants and shops. Elizabeth's has awesome coffee and Cream is some of the best ice cream I have ever had. All around a convenient base for checking out the area and host is very responsive.

Awesome property

Overall a great property in a cute town. Walking distance to many great restaurants and close to so many great outdoor gems such as Custer State Park, Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, Wind Cave & Jewel Cave National Parks. Great kitchen and outdoor hot tub. Must stay in the Black Hills.

Small Town Gem

This is the second year we have used Hill City Haven! The property is spacious, welcoming, and perfectly located. The hosts are responsive and helpful. We will be making Hill City Haven a yearly retreat.

A Great Spot

We had a great stay here…plenty of room and a short walk to shops and restaurants. House is older, but has some updates and everything you need. Fenced in yard was great for our dog…fireplace was great. Hill City is a great spot to explore everything in the Black Hills from, and this was a great spot to stay for our trip.
