Honeymooners and couples will love this simple, cozy beach cottage! This one bedroom, one bath home is tucked away at the end of a private driveway on the west side of Hwy 101.

This pet friendly cottage comes with a fully furnished kitchen, and oceanview dining area. Our livingroom has comfortable seating including a sleeper sofa and cable TV/DVD as well as large picture windows to enjoy the oceanview - rain or shine! Our deck is enclosed to it is a perfect set up for pets to safely enjoy the outdoors.

Enjoy the romance as you sit by the fireplace with a warm beverage and take in the crashing surf! Stairs lead you down to eight miles of sandy beach that is literally your back yard.

Please note: This home is dog friendly with a two dog maximum. A $100.00 fee applies. While we welcome your dogs, we do not allow them to be on furniture or bedding. Please let us know if you have questions about this policy.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a simple rustic beach cottage. Nothing fancy, but just fine for the Coast and totally functional. And you can't beat the location and view. We will be back.

We would love to go back. We felt like pampered guests; there was a toy basket for dogs that was the icing on the cake for Ollie, who enjoyed it almost as much as he loved running on the beach. Beach access is easy; the steps are just one house away from the cottage. We went in August and had great weather; I could see enjoying it as much in winter with its fireplace, sheltered deck and giant window, facing the ocean, perfect for storm watching. The shower is spotless. The shower head is mounted quite high on the surround; the tallest guest might be nominated to unhook it for the others. If you forget any kitchen essential, it's likely you will find it at the cottage. Our new favourite Oregon coast destination.

The secluded location with the deck overlooking the ocean was wonderful. An unexpected bonus was having a sky that was dark enough for the Milky Way to shine through. The house itself is very “beachy casual” which was just fine with me. I’d be delighted to return to this charming little hideaway.

This is the sweetest cottage right on the beach. Everything was clean and we really appreciated the firewood as it was pretty cold outside. We will definitely come back.

Beach was empty, compared to most ocean Access places. Rustic, but everything you need for spending time with the best view and so easy to get down to beach. Perfect for dogs.

We had a great stay at this property for our anniversary. We have a tendency to cook nice meals when we get away and then hang out at the beach or on the deck with a view for most of our time. Sometimes we play board games. The table was very conducive to a meal and board game. We thought beachfront would mean that we could walk straight from the deck down to the beach, but on this property you walk around the neighbor’s house to get to the beach, which is really no big deal. Great view. Kitchen and bathroom are very tight. Beachfront on a budget is what I would call this. It’s well cared for but inexpensively built which I didn’t have any issue with. The only issue we really had was that the kitchen is not terribly conducive to cooking any kind of real meal. It’s more of a kitchenette. The great thing is that every meal we had in Waldport was wonderful… so to most of you who eat out when you vacation you are in for a treat. This was our first time to Waldport and we really loved the town. FYI: we were in fact able to make our anniversary shrimp and grits… It was just a little harder to do the prep because of lack of space.

Was amazing cute little house for great weekend getaway with my husband where we could just sit and relax. Tight driveway but otherwise nice spot and cute cottage.

We had a great time! A few things could be updated, a taller ada toilet, fix the slow draining bathroom sink. The sliding glass door needs some work, it was hard to move. Other than a few things, it was quiet and peaceful, well stocked with items you need!

This place has a beautiful view and easy access to the beach and that was it for us. It was definitely not the honeymoon type experience we expected based on the listing verbiage and reviews. It is very old and all the furnishings and decor are damaged/old/rusted or just poor quality. Even the glass side table in the living room and racks in the freezer were covered with rust. And the outdoor patio table and chairs were so rusted we didn’t dare sit in them. The shower is new but if you’ve ever been on a cruise, you know how tiny those round showers are and with no built in shelving in it your stuck trying to bend over to pick up your shampoo, soap, ect. And forget about shaving your legs girls. When we went to the shed to cut some kindling it took both my husband and myself to open the shed door. Based on the location and view this had so much potential to be amazing but isn’t. We stay in a lot of VRBO places and this was one of the worst taken care of ones we’ve ever been in. Based on our walks through several of the towns near this one I suspect that sea-nik properties are not well maintained at all.
