Beautiful summer condo style rental - close to Acadia national park & bar harbor! Great location!!
Don't leave it to late, get that dates you need booked early to avoid dissapointment. Located in Southwest Harbor known as the quiet side of mount desert island, minutes from downtown shops and restaurants.The property is set back off main street and next to the golf course! less than a 2 minute drive to echo lake which has its own beach with lifeguards and much warmer water than the ocean, water reaches 75 degrees in the summer very nice for a relaxing swim or just relax the day away with a book. But if you prefer the ocean we are minutes from that as well, we have sand beach that is in the Acadia National Park. Its is also close to the stop for the free island explorer shuttle bus that serves the entire island. Southwest harbor is 15 minutes drive from bar harbor and minutes from Acadia National Park, hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching and all of nearby attractions.


Property overview: the rental has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom - both bedrooms have queen beds and a roll out bed on request. It will sleep a total of 4. The rental is fully equipped - it comes with linen and towels provided ( please bring your own beach towels) as the rental towels are for the bathroom only. It has a full bathroom. Full kitchen inc - stove / fridge freezer / microwave / breakfast table/cutlery, plates, toaster, coffee maker, etc.

The lounge has a 3 seater leather sofa and a 2 seater, dining room table, kitchen bar with stools. LED Roku app T.V. Inc cable channels, Netflix etc. and free wireless internet connection.

The yard is at the back of the building and has a picnic table and grill / BBQ

We loved our visit to Maine. This was a great spot for the four of us. Enough room and very clean. We were gone during the day, but it was the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking.

Wonderful location, golf course on one side and grocery and laundry on the other. Kitchen was fully stocked. Quick jaunt to Southwest Harbor town for shopping and dining. Host was very personable and checked-in us to see how our stay was going.

This is a great and private place to stay when visiting Acadia. It's close enough to get everywhere, but far enough away from the crowds of Bar Harbor. The apartment is clean and spacious. We had a terrific time and would gladly stay here again.

Very clean, cozy little space located in Southwest Harbor. We visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and everything we wanted to do was within a 30 minute drive, even with traffic. We also enjoyed the dining and mini-golf located within a few miles. The information provided by the host well in advance of our stay was greatly appreciated and check-in was a breeze. Very easy and minimal check-out directions were awesome.

Nice location, comfortable beds & furniture, clean and inviting. We arrived after dark and the lights were on for us. Loved that there was coffee there ready to use...just need to get your sweeteners & cream. We made use of the coolers on our outings. There were beach towels there, but the weatherwasn't warm enough for beach time. I would definitely book again if I am in that area. Thanks for providing a home away from jome!

We really enjoyed our time here. The place was clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed in the kitchen (we also made use of the BBQ). We borrowed the camping chairs to take to Echo lake beach nearby. Acadia mountain was also nearby. Bar Harbor was around 15-20min drive away. Supermarket a few doors up the road too. We can also recommend Gott's store (5 min drive) for takeout pizza, homemade sweet treats etc. Thanks for having us Tim!

Nice two bedroom unit (part of multi-unit building) in a convenient location on Southwest Harbor. Only complaints are road noise due to proximity to road and some noise (very limited) from upstairs unit. Had helpful gear for the area including small coolers, camping chairs, and a rollaway bed.

The place was decorated very nicely. The living area and bedroom spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a full shower, but the toilet area was very tight for an older person or larger person. The bed sheets were awesome!The location was good as far as access to restaurants and stores and getting to Acadia national Park and Bar Harbor. It’s located on the main road coming into town. We were in cabin one and it was very loud even with the window shut.It didn’t have AC that we could tell, but we didn’t need it on account of the cooler weather we had. Water pressure was not great, but it could have been worse.I would stay here again if there was nothing else available.

Comfortable place on Mount Desert Island

My daughter and I were visiting Mount Desert Island for the first time. This was s great location to access Acadia’s beautiful hiking, views, coast and towns.

Great location

Even though we drove to Bar Harbor just about every day, it was a short drive. The main purpose for our trip was to explore Acadia NP, and this location made it very easy. Southwest Harbor has a lot to offer, as well! This property suited us well.
