Perfect!

Loved everything about the house, from the porch to the open kitchen and living room, master bed and bath, and little coffee nook. Great spot and dog friendly and very helpful host!

Wonderful 4th of July stay!

Stayed here on July 4th weekend with my wife and 3 other couples. Easy access to lakes and hiking nearby and we spent much of our time relaxing on the screened-in porch or out back by the firepit. Megan was also the perfect host; very responsive and helpful! Easy check-in, house was clean/well appointed, and only a short 5 min walk down a dirt road to the lake. Since the house only had 3 bedrooms, we knew in advance that one couple would be sleeping on the sectional; but they had no complaints about comfort. Would definitely return here again; thanks Megan!

Great stay

The house was perfect for our party of 6 and furry friend. It was very cozy, clean and quiet. Megan is fantastic with prompt correspondence and was very helpful with researching and answering questions about area interests. We would recommend for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle as a place to relax and unwind.

Amazing House

Beautiful house that was well appointed. Essentially there are two living areas so that everyone has more than enough space. It is beautifully decorated and has a great sitting area outside for a warming fire. The location was perfect for us and was close to the wedding venue we were attending. I definitely would rent this house again if we find ourselves in Holerness again

Late Christmas in January in NH

We booked this property at the last minute when another rental cancelled on us due to flooding in the Tennney Mountain area. Megan could not have been more accommodating and responsive. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my family of 6 plus our dog. The only negative was that it snowed while we were there and it would have been nice to have the driveway plowed. Overall an awesome stay and would definitely rent here again.

Wonderful lake access modern home

Our family had an incredible week on lake squam staying at this spacious 3 bedroom (with plenty of space for more on futons etc). The master is ideal but having two additional queen beds in adjoining rooms was perfect for our group. There are two large living rooms one upstairs and one down stairs which is an open floor plan kitchen/ dining room/living room large area, which the picture don’t do justice. The screened in porch just off the living room is idyllic! Two fireplaces one outside one in, made for plenty of lounging space. Pets welcome and dock access, you can’t beat it! Additional bonus, the host is top notch on responses! We’re already planning to come back, that says it all!

Long weekend on Squam Lake

My friend and I were looking for a weekend away to do some fishing and hiking. We were not disappointed. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Having done VRBO's for the last 5-6 years, it's not always easy to find a place that checks all the boxes. This house was very comfortable, very clean, and had all the amenities that we needed. In addition it has a great location to a lot of places (restaurants, Lake Winni, Holderness marina), dock access, and close to neighboring towns. Most of all, the owner went above and beyond in making sure we had everything. Several times I had a couple of questions and she responded immediately and was very very easy to work with. If your looking for a place on Squam Lake, look no further! Thanks again Megan and Dan!!!
